Panic city here... This is the first time throughout this entire season that I have actual real fears of something really bad happening. And it sucks that they are slamming them before they even finish the season or release totals. Who is to say that Fright Fest doesn't have stellar returns? If last weekend at Great Adventure is any indication, things are still looking up and they could pull out of this hole. But going down in the 60 cent range is completely killing any tiny little remains of investor confidence - which is mostly the result of the fears with the refi they have coming up. Which I understand but if they get enough cash flow positive, things could really work out.
We should ALL be praying they don't file folks. The banks will force them to liquidate just about everything they can including usused land, etc. at firesale prices. Obviously the major attractions won't go anywhere but this could really change the landscape of the entire Six Flags business forever.
