I never got the chance to ride this... what was it like?

It was like falling down a very long flight of stairs.  And than getting up, and doing it all over again.

Viper needed another 1,000 feet of track after the heartline roll.  The last turn into the brake run was brutal.  The Dive loop was fun, but than those trains and restraints made it hurt.   It had fun moments, but still an overall bad ride.

No, you don't Jerry lol. Beyond brutal. And this ride easily caused the most first aid visits when open.

Manhatten Express (now just rollercoaster?) was nearly just as bad so I'm not sure that extra 1000ft. would help much lol

Sit in a chair and have your friends pummel you with hardened Nerf bats for 30 seconds.  Then have Mike Tyson jab you in the jaw.  Congratulations: You just rode Viper.

It was tight because apparently the ride was supposed to be longer than it was, but some issues came up between the park and TOGO, so that what happened.

I actually am one of the few who loved Viper. It had the best drop in the park from the back seat.

That is true, but then the rest of the ride happens, and the jab at the end killed the good memory of that DELICIOUS drop. Thank Goodness El Toro "pays homage" to Viper with it's "turn-lift-turn-DROOOOOOOOP!" beginning.

Viper had a different intensity no other ride had, however the restraints were absolutely horrid.

If you want to ride, close your eyes and smash your head a brick wall, stop smashing right before you blackout but need tylenol, Viola, You just experienced Viper and a Concussion

Viper was like playing on a jungle gym. It was fun until you got hurt.

Watching counts +2 for fun since that was more fun, but -4 for experience since you really just had to ride that thing.
