Wait Times
« on: April 10, 2009, 10:49:05 PM »
I've never been to SFGA.... Can anyone help me out with wait times?

For example whats the difference between weekend crowds, and weekday crowds?
I'm probably going on monday, and tuesday. I'm hoping 2 days without a flash pass will be sufficient. Please inform me if i'm off my rocker about this.

Weekends are always going to be busier this time of year because it's when -everyone- is off. I mean yeah it's "spring break" next week so the park is open, but honestly a lot of the schools and colleges in this area already had spring break. So I can't imagine too many people will be there on Monday and Tuesday but I honestly have never gone during their spring break so I can't answer that.

In the summer though, forget it. Every day is awful. Spring and fall are the best times to go to the park.

Yeah I know what you mean... my homepark is Canada's wonderland and I hate waiting for anything there other than Behemoth. If I have 2 days I should be good. Thanks for the advice.

Ahhh its a shame whentoride.com is no longer. :( That site broke down ever aspect of when to go and when it was best to hit each ride.

Wow, Ted shut down the site. I never knew.   The two days you are going is a perfect plan dkny.

You can always purchase one of the amazing VIP tours at Great Adventure.  You would not have to wait for anything.  Walk right on the ride plus reserved seating at shows and all your food and drink are included.

I'm in the area next week and was really disappointed that they don't even open until May :(.

Whats a less busy direction first thing in the mourning....

Boardwalk (GASM, Superman) or Movietown (Banman x2, Nitro)
