Balin's Jungle Land

Jackie and I were in the park today (before meeting up with friends) and saw this posted, right after the rides were removed. I guess they're being rehabbed... Either way, I like that they're coming back :)

Also, that is two rides still gone. I'm not complaining but it's a shame that the train isn't returning as well.

Ironically, the train was one of Mark Shapiros big first actions after taking over. He couldn't believe the train was just parked there and not running because of that stupid emergency exit the state wanted. 2 weeks later the ride opened for the first time ever about a year after it was built. It added a great kinetic feel to the area and the ride area is of rather high visibility to hide.

Oh well, glad they at least took these steps. Were gaining one back to since the elephants never returned after one broke last year. My kids called that mini dumbo lol

I was under the impression that they were going to place the train in the removed flats area to avoid using the bridge at the emergency exit and to avoid the blind spots. I noticed that the Foghorn Leghorn stage coach sign has been removed. Perhaps they will move the Jungleland Express to Bugs Bunny National Park? (Or is Thomas coming?!) ;)
