The beginning of the article was ok, but common knowledge. The second half though, that just sucked. It dove into a more tabloid style of journalism with half-truths and out-of-context info. Too bad people take it as Gospel simply because it's printed.

I was actually appalled by the whole thing. Crap like this sure doesn't help the tourism industry recover either!

wow. several examples in the article are rather extreme and rare occurances. the author is mainly targeting disney to cover larger parks, and using examples mostly from small parks/fairs. SFGadv trains their employees rather well regardless of age actually, it's good to see first hand as a guest. In seaside I'm scared about the maintenance and training. ;)

I know seaside seems a bit like it would not matter as much, but the state has a very strict policy when it comes to coasters.

i know the state is strict, but rides in seaside in general looked like they were going to fall apart at any moment. fresh paint does wonders. ;)
