AGAWAM - The president of Six Flags New England expressed concerns about pedestrian safety on Route 159 during a recent appearance before the City Council."The reality is that it's just an incredibly unsafe situation," Six Flags President Larry D. Litton told the council.The park began its seven-day-a-week operation on Friday. It had been open on weekends since April.He said there are seven private properties allowing parking along Route 159, or Main Street.
