rjholla2003:
Recently there has been a rash of posts on the boards that can be summed up a post-count bumpers.  From this point going forward, any posts that are being made that are not adding to the conversation such as "Yeah, me too", "Oh, that's cool", "That's so true!" and the like shall be deleted.  The purpose of the boards is to carry on a discussion, so please, when you post, add something to the discussion.  If you agree with something, that's fine, just elaborate a bit.

Thank you for your attention

I also would like to add, if post count is the most important thing you are after, than you need to look back and see why you are posting. I believe that it is not the quantity of the poster and the amount of posts, but the quality of it.

You can have 1,000 posts that contribute absolutely nothing to the conversation, or you can have 500 that contributes to everything and you are looked on more with respect.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. If you feel your question needs to be asked in private feel free to send me a Private Message.

There is another fansite board where the leading poster ha over 20,000 posts and cares about his post count not a whit.  Quality, not quantity matters.

Yeah, I mean I understand the thought behind making the posts, if you're making them for something besides post count. I guess I could call it the Facebook effect. Everyone is used to "liking" something or leaving short comments on someone's post.

Which, in the future, may be going on here. WHO KNOWS! /endhint. But in all seriousness, it's nice to see people active, it's nice to have posts.. but let's try to have posts that serve a purpose. A few here and there of random responses is fine because you're trying to hold a conversation in the thread, but don't make it something that happens all the time.

If you're really concerned with your post counts, we can modify them for you. I mean seriously, it's not that important :D

By the way Reggie, did I put enough words in my trip report?  O0

rjholla2003:
It was 5 words short. You have 24 hours to correct the infraction or face a temporary ban.  Length of ban will be determined at the time it is handed down. :D
