Gadv Concerts
« on: March 28, 2006, 10:03:16 PM »
Great Adventure concerts are starting to get really, really good I must say. Sure there are some "eh" bands but others I'm going that day just for the concert.

Some Headliners this year:

Sam Ash music Festival
All American Rejects
Beach Boys
Aly and Aj   :D
Teddy Gieger
Hank Williams Jr.
Blues Traveler
Youth Explostion? Grammy winner?

Days I'll be there for the concerts:

Maybe- Sam Ash Music Festival-sounds good so I might.
All American Rejects
Maybe-the Beach Boys

What days are you going to see concerts?

What days are All-American Rejects & Hank Williams Jr. gonna be there?

I went to the Lifehouse concert last year at GA and it was awesome. Not bad for my first concert either. I wish they were coming back this year.

I may try to make it to see the Beach Boys & a few others depending on my schedule at work.

From Sixflags.com - a list of all concerts for the 2006 season.  Keep in mind that this list can constantly change.  You are best off keeping a close watch on this page - http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatadventure/ShowsAndEvents/index.html#concerts for the latest info.

As for me, I'm seriously considering getting there for Lonestar on the 4th.  Everybody thinks LS is nothing but balads but they actually rock!  My wife will probably want to see Jo Dee or Lee Ann.

I might even be interested in seeing Blues Traveler.

Back in the 80's I remember seeing such bands as:

Ted Nugent
Heart
and a few other rockers

it was funny on the day Ted Nugent was in concert alot of people (men) walking around without shirts on (it was in the upper 90's) he did a couple shows that day.
I may go see Foreigner if I'm not down the shore that day

I remember....errr some pop star was at the park and one ride on RT, everyone starting singing the song (making fun of him). It was simply the most classic RT ride I've ever been on.

I was there last year when Kansas was there, I stopped by for 15 minutes. They put on a good show and everyone seemed to be into the show.

That's cool. Hopefully they will roll these out to the other parks.

I find it funny that Raven is coming to a "Six Flags near you" and it's sponsored by Radio Disney.

LMAO!!!

Yeah, the tickets for that show are for purchase only. I'm not sure how much they are yet, or what time the concert is, but if you want the tickets, buy them fast, it will most likely sell out quick. I'm hoping I can make it there for it.

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!
