Anyone Braving the 4th?
« on: July 03, 2006, 06:33:42 AM »
I'll be in the park with a few friends from out of town from about opening untill five.  Anyone else brave enough to hit the park on the 4th?
The world is coming to an end, I've actually created a blog!

I was actually planning on it but with the weather its just too much with the kids.  Esp. the 1 year old.  It actually  isn't always that bad until later in the day for whatever the big concert is (Lonestar!) and the fireworks.  Now getting out of the parking lot at closing is a completely different story lol

Let us know how it went ;)

I am going at around 5-6pm to hopefully get a ride on El Toro and then go see the fireworks with my girlfriend.

There is a set distance from which the storms must be to close the rides.  Its a good policy.  Its happened before that lightning has struck something out of a blue sky. Likely, no, but it is possible.  Perhaps try later?  The crowds might be light from people leaving.

Nope. I will be interested on how the lines are though. That's a time where the real time queue board will come in great use. I'll be at the next stop on my vacation: Knoebels! My gf and I are venturing out there for the first time!
