My boss today asked me if i heard anything about SFI putting a weight limit on it's coasters, anyone over a certain weight can't ride. Is this true or not?

I love hearing rumors from people like this. One girl told me that people die on roller coasters everyday and she swore she could push her Kingda Ka restraint up.

Rumor.

This rumor is alomost as bad as "having to sign a contract to ride Kingda Ka"  ::) You should have seen the fight with someone I had that it wasn't true. Oh the GP what would we do without them?

A weight restriction for coasters definitely sounds like just a rumor. Now on some types of flats it might make more sense (I know the parachutes has a weight limit), but even so would they ever actually have scales to enforce it?

I've also had the same arguement that Matt had with someone I met on before college classmate get together thing. I insisted if she had to sign anything at all it would be a photo release most likely, and told her she should really read stuff before signing it, haha.
