Now I know this subject sounds weird but this is serious. I know facts and have ridden alot of coasters however what is the dealiest coaster ever? Not the roughest but the coaster that has ahd the most fatalities? If anyone has an awsner it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the Edmonton Mindbender?  I don't know how many died in that accident, but it was pretty grizzly.  I figure if you peruse RideAccidents.com that you could find some other 'big' accidents and measure them out for yourself.

3 people died on Mind Bender. I believe that was the most in one accident. But I know some coasters have had some frequent accidents, like Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland or S:ROS at SFNE.

Though it doesn't bother me one way or the other, can I ask - why?

Do you want to go marathon this particular coaster or something?

Anyone knew about this accident???? I found it courtesy of rideaccidents.com:

Sunday, August 16, 1981 - A 20-year-old park employee fell from the Rolling Thunder roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure theme park in Jackson Township, New Jersey. The accident occurred during a routine test run of the trains. An investigation by the New Jersey Labor Department concluded that the man may not have secured himself with the safety bar. A park representative later confirmed this conclusion, saying that the employee "may have assumed an unauthorized riding position that did not make use of safety restraints."
The ride was inspected, and the Labor Department concluded that the ride was "operationally and mechanically sound." Rolling Thunder was reopened a day later and still operates at Great Adventure.

I find this one very disturbing......

Wednesday, July 9, 1980 - A 26-year-old male was killed at an amusement park in Missouri when the ride operator of a roller coaster mistakenly assumed that the train in which the victim was riding was empty, and switched the track to direct the train into a service area. The area in which the service track ran through was of low clearance, and the victim's head got jammed between the back of his seat and an overhead wooden beam. At least one other person was injured in the accident.

Well.. it might not be the most deadliest, but a coaster to really remember for its mean streak is of course, the Crystal Beach Cyclone.

Yes the Harry Traver Cyclone was very intense along with it's 2 sister coasters.
they had a nurses station at the coaster.
The Mindbender accident was bad with I think the wheel assembly coming apart.
I think a few years ago in Wildwood an employee was killed while cleaning under the track of the Nor-Easter when the train came around and hit him in the head.
Most accidents are human error.
FYI
NO LIMITS coaster sim has a CB Cyclone sim

I have a Harry Traver book (Harry G. Traver Legends of Terror) which shows all of his coasters and mostly the Cyclone.
you can order it below from Amazon a must have for any coaster freak I bought mine over 20 years ago.My favorite coaster book

I just checked this book is now $99 and up you may find it at Coaster events for $19 or so if lucky

I was at moreys like a week before that happened.  My uncle was there the night it happened.  The employee was cleaning up one of the fenced in places underneath of one of several inversions and got decapitated by a 6 foot something rider.  The rider broke his leg.   It was pretty nasty.. but aside from that, the nor easter is hardly the deadliest, and ith appens to be one of my favorite.

david jr.. i absolutely agree. i want to ride that coaster more than anything.

pc man.. good find on that book.. id like to see it.
