I'm coming home for the weekend next week and I'll be down in Wildwood all weekend. So if anyone wants to hit up the new Nor'Easter, the Great White and have an insane time at Flipper's Fascination all night let me know! It would be awesome to see some of you guys and to finally get on a coaster this year!

I'm only gonna be in NJ for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday, I'll be down in Wildwood all day basically and the rest of the time I'm just gonna hang out at home.

Maybe I can meet up with one/all of you and drive down the rest of the way. I'm hoping to leave work (Pottstown) around 4pm and get to the Walt Witman bridge by 6ish, unless you guys have a better recommendation.

If I'm able to work things out (3 kids = lots of work), I'm right off of Rt.55 and Rt.47 on the way to Wildwood.
hmmm, maybe I can make it my fathers day present :D

I can do friday nite as soon as i get done work ;D. i still have those 2 free ride passes they gave out at Eastcoaster, i have not gotten around to using them yet.

I think 422 to 476S to 95S to 322 E to 55 S to 47 to Wildwood may avoid Walt Whit and 42 traffic and the Hell Cat temptation.

Sounds like a fun time but it is a long drive for a Friday evening trip for me.

I have no clue as I'm always last minute.. If I'm around I'll let you know so we can save on gas money. I'll also check on the Cape house and see if we can stay over if that's an option for anyone .

As far as what time i would arrive down there, it depends on what time i get out of work and get home to shower up.
Bubba: that would be great if you can swing it.
I think the easiest thing for me would be to trade cell numbers with some of you over pm if you don't mind. That way i can call y'all when i get down there.

Mariner's Landing(Where the boomerang is): 12:30pm-11pm
Surfside Pier(Nor'Easter): 5pm-11pm
Adventure Pier(Great White): 5pm-11pm

yes i'm a definate. As soon as i'm done work, i'll head home, shower up, and make the drive down. The only unknown is when i'll be done work. The one thing about recycling collections is you go home when the road super says you can. I'll be wearing a black "Fahrenheit" t-shirt from HP.

I'm right off Rt. 55 in Deptford/Woodbury area for anybody wanting to carpool. However, there is no way I can spend the night there so I'll be heading back whenever things wrap up. I likely would be leaving right around dinner time after work unless I escape a tad early.

Melissa has her first job until 4 but she's also working 11 pm to 7 am that night too, so she doesn't think it's worth the gas money to drive over an hour down and over an hour back... I'm trying to convince her to call out the night job atleast.

I just talked to Chuck, and we should be getting down there by 1:30, maybe 2:00... we'll see. Eitehr way, 2 of the 3 piers won't be open until 5.

Melissa just got a note from the doctor/hospital saying she can't work for the next 72 hours. So if she's up to snuff, she'll be coming too.
Tom, I'm going to attempt to bring my camera. Of all of my visits to Wildwood, I have not one picture.

I have many pics of Wildwood over the Years
and some of the old Hunts Pier Kamikaze
I even have a Movie that was filmed in Wildwood called Touched
shows them riding the Hunts Pier Flyer
and the Scream Machine that was on Nickels pier
I just transfered it from VHS to DVD very hard to find
I will be going down next month and will take many pics Hopefully of a New Coaster for 2010

Great White X6 Lot's of new wood has this running extremely well
Jersey Junk Yard The best two props in dark ride history... The Shocker and Puke man.
Mummy 3D Live actors could help this attraction out.
Macks Pizza A little greasy , but great crust.
Polish H20 Ice Cotton Candy, good stuff!
Sea Shell themed Tilt-a-whirl Crazy Air time!
Rollie's Get rid of the OTSR, would make for an even better ride!
Sea Serpent one of the better ones, but I still hate boomerangs.
Great Nor Easter Nice light show and restraints, but however it will be my first and last ride on it, Just Horrible!
Zoom Phloom Best ever ! Still not sure how the boat in front of us made it around!!!
Doo Wopper Less brakes please, The first mouse I wasn't scared of , so boring!

That was definately the quote of the night. And I was only awake due to having the windows down for half the ride and then the AC cranked once the wind got on my nerves. After that, Reflections of Earth somehow kept me awake. I must have been thinking I was pulling a all night drive to Disney World or something lol
Yes, it was good time but holy crap did Nor Easter suck. The harnesses are awesome but can't resolve issues with horrible tracking due to what I presume is bad gauging and sucky wheels.
Now Great White rocked! Esp. the shuffle seat. And having the shell come off the platform was almost scary.

I'll still ride the NorEaster, but it's definitely still not that great. But the harnesses make it much better.

True about Nor' easter... it still blows... my first ride was decent, but the 2nd ride was awful. Atmosphere is where the party was that night! It was great seeing everyone, even if the main reason for us going there wasn't really around that much.

I thought atmosphere was way better than those air powered things. And it wasn't even that tall! Nice view of the ocean to.

The "Shell" Tilt-A-Whirl was very crazy that night too. We kept scraping the platform when we'd turn real fast.
