I was working on a logo for the back of shirts. Now the future of the name "Guide" is alittle uncertain but it can be whatever we decide. Instead of just words for the sites I will put the logos like the insider one is. I just need a ECC logo they want, if Penncoasters has or wants a logo, and a gadvupdates logo.

That's a great layout, especially when you'll have GadvGuide exploding out of the middle like some sort of movie graphic.

I think its a cool format. My only concern is the fact that GadvGuide may no longer exist (we'll know next week) and that the Guide and Updates both don't have logos yet lol

I am sure someone can make a logo for Updates which would look great in the shirt. That is a cool looking design though and would look great on the back of shirt.

i think the circle idea is a good idea. We just need logos for penncoasters and gadvupdates because the plain font just throws off the whole cool design. I will definately buy one of these shirts if you sell them.

If they are produced as shirts we should all buy them and wear them at Coaster Celebration. That would be really awesome :)

Yeah, the plan is to have a logo for each site, the text is just holding the place of a real logo for the other sites.
I will work on some logos for gadvupdates and guide but maybe somebody else could come up with something better than me?
Yeah the plan is to put that on the back of the shirt, your name/username on the front. Im thinking the shirts might be like 10 bucks a peice but dont quote me on that.

If you buy in bulk they are cheaper for shirt, so before anything final, we should take a poll of how many want a shirt.

I like the design flow to it with the circles. I just think it needs more color to give it a wow factor.

I was thinking that too, but then i thought maybe a dark shirt with the white cricles. I tried filling it but it doesnt look good with all the different types of logos.
Also, whoever voted no please tell me what you dont like, the design is very changable right now.

I honestly liked the white one better that we could put on a white/black shirt. I do really like the logo design/idea though. I never would have thought of that, but once again I am not THAT creative.

Well, you can put the colored one on any color shirt you want. Light/Dark doesnt matter.

Yea I know that, but maybe just the orange is throwing me off. I'm sure if there was a different color my opinion might change, although I am a fan of orange. I don't know why it just doesn't look quite fitting.

I personally like the yellow instead of the orange. Maybe it just stands out more, but I definitely like it a lot better.

At the time, I was talking about the logos needed more color not actually the circles themselves. Your site as with ECC look great, but Updates and Penncoasters need to come up with a logo. Or you could just choose a color for their respectable names.
The way I see it is, One side of the logo is brightly colored and the other side is plain and washed out. That's not your fault, its just what it is. Hopefully someone with an artistic skill can help come up with Logos. Then again the final decision should come down to Nate and Wade on what they really want.
I do like what you came up for Penncoaster, especially the state outline. Going with Hydra, not so sure. When I think about PA, it reminds me of trees and Mountains so maybe go with a classic wooden coaster instead of a steel coaster.

I have a feeling the Updates logo is in the works, and hthe rest look great, even the one that innervision came up with for PennCoasters. The yellow would look great on a blue or green shirt maybe. So what is this exactly going to be...a shirt with the 4 sites on the front, and your name and a site of your choice on the back?

Other way around, the logo with the four sites on the back with a little thing on the front with your name/user name and what site you are from if any specific one.

Add black to the list of acceptable colors, unless I'm the only one who doesn't mind a little extra heat.

Good job innervision! They are great! I've got some ideas for the logos as well...
For Updates..I've been thinking to use Medusa's or RTC's Cobra Roll as the "U" in Updates. That's all I have for that, good luck!
For Penncoasters, I think a nice shot of LR's turnaround would be great, with a nice horizon above it.
I also have an idea for another shirt. Maybe you can make an acrostic-esque shirt with UPDATES. For example...
U pdates
P ...
D ...
A ...
T ...
E ...
S ...
Just an idea I had. Have fun with your creations!

That's pretty cool man. Black is NOT a good color at all. The ECC shirts are black, and I've worn that to GADV on hot days, and CP, and man it sucks.

Yea but any color is acceptable. I would go with white, but those get dirty really easily so maybe even an orange or something would be cool. I personally like maroon colored shirts, but then again a lot of people don't like that color.

Yea I really like the cobra roll idea, that looks really cool. But for some reason that acronym idea someone had just stuck in the back of my mind and I am sure someone could come up with something witty for each letter of Updates.

Orange is definitely an awesome color and the red looks great with it. Keep up the great work to everyone who is creative and good in Photoshop :P
I would definitely wear that around the park and be proud wearing it because it looks so cool.

It has a lil RCDB twist on it there. I like the white and black logo though it would be better with solid white just like how he did it with the orange and red.

The only problem is getting those small spaces onto a dark shirt. The less little voids the better. It becomes almost impossible with shadows and stuff.

Well, ideally, but for these shirts im tryin to save some cash and use the heat press I already have.

just take the shadow effect off.. and make the Cobra roll mainly white.

^I think the problem is the little spaces but if you take them out then it hardly resembles a coaster.
How does a heat press work Innervision?

The heat press uses the transfers you can buy at retail stores, and for white, or light shirts its ok. You print on the paper using an inkjet printer and anything that is white on the light transfers come out transparent.
So for dark shirts you print on specific transfer paper that the whole thing transfers over. So if you dont trim out everything you dont want to transfer it comes out white.
So you would have to trim all the peices inside the cobra in order for them to be transparent. That is why I used the cricles in my design, because its a really simple design to trim around the edge of.
Now obviously we can put the updates logo you made inside one of those circles and be golden. :lol:

Well, if you can get 50 people to buy a gadvupdates tshirt feel free. Thats only one color also, so its good for logos liks the ones you made, and the ECC ones but the gainsider logo would make no sense in one color.

Yeah, I found a different site but it's more expensive. If we rounded up who actually wants the shirts it would make the process easier. If 25 people wanted it, it would come to 10 a shirt. As many colors on the prints as you like but we'd also have to agree on a color.

Also, I think if we wait to see if the guide is going to be coming back with the same name you could get a lot more people to buy shirts, because it would not only be updates people, but insider people, ecc people, and penncoasters people.
