Is anyone looking to meet up during this weekend ? Or Are we all crossing are fingers El Toro will open ? Not really sure what my plans are yet but I do have this marked as an option.
-
I wasn't even aware the park was open this Sunday? I thought they opened Memorial Day weekend. I might actualyl be there depending on when they are open until. I have work until 5, but would be willing to take a few laps on J2 afterwards!
-
Hmmm, I've never been to J2 and wouldnt mind going there, maybe I can catch a ride there!
-
Sorry to break it to you, but the park is closed on Sunday. It doesn't open for another two weeks.
-Cyclonic, who will forever call it Tsunami
-
Yup, May 26th is opening day for CLP. You are welcome to go have lunch though bubba LOL
-
If you click the link on the calender (May26th) it would bring you to this topic , Yes everyone is correct . The park doesn't open till the 26th and I thought about going on Sunday the 28th, sorry about the confusion.
-
OH lol It makes sense now. This weekend as in the weekend it opens lol
-
That is why I started writing Calender Update on the messages. It is a really neat feature, but is going to take some getting used to.
-
personally, after riding it both years it was open.. i think that it rides better under the name tsunami.
If i werent in cali that week i would surely head up there. I havent been up that way in a little awhile.

I will be there Monday night the 29th with the Euro Coaster club for some ERT on Tsuami.
I still call it that also.
I waited all my life for this coaster and the old name fits it perfect.
I can make midweek evenings if anyone ever goes I'm just a mile down the road.
This ride has is one awesome coaster with a completly differnat ride from the front (smooth) to the back very rough but I love it. (they only let people over 21 years old ride the back 2 rows)
This is good for me as I get sometimes 2 or more rides without getting out of the seat.
It's just over to fast.
