i was waiting for this. Unfortunatly, Ray Nagin isn't going to make this easy. I can see why Nagin doesn't want this to happen. he's afraid the permanent closing of SFNO will make the rebuilding of New Orleans  that much harder and will only convince more people not to come back to the city.

Treating Six Flags badly will certainly NOT convince other companies to come into the area to invest.

And New Orleans is hardly holding all the cards.  If I were the city, I'd take what I could get now, before a court gave me far less later...which could happen under almost any scenario you can think of.
