...again.
The Lake Compounce site is reporting that boulder dash is currently closed. Screamscape is saying that riders reported seeing sparks flying out from under the train.
If I recall, isn't this somewhat simliar to what happened last season to? Anybody know more?
This is a shame since it sounded like they actually got it running half decent this year.

(8/15/07)
Screamscape sources tell us that a piece of the track on Boulderdash had come loose and managed to damage the underside of both trains Saturday night and closed immediately.
The problem track section has since been repaired, but both trains have been removed from the ride for repair.
I?ve been told that the park is obtaining the old retired PTC made Wildcat train from Hersheypark to finish up the season. With luck Boulder Dash could be reopen by this weekend.

Screamscapes source is probably the same employee that called his freind that is a member of TPR because that matches almost exactly what TPR is talking about lol
Well, its really fortunate that they just happened to get that additional train so at least that worked out :)

Wasn't BD just recently re-tracked?

Wasn't BD just recently re-tracked?
Only part of it. The rest is supposed to be completed this off-season.

It has reopened with one Hershey Wildcat train. It will be one train operation for the rest of the year.

Actually it was more like 6 days. It closed early on Saturday and reopened later in the day on Friday. Definitely still a good job though!
