Title: Great Adventure Parts in South Jersey
Post by: WadeJ on March 29, 2012, 06:59:40 PM
I always thought it was odd that Great Adventure uses a shop in southern NJ to do much of their work but anyway, Bubba sent me this today.  The shop is in Audubon near where he works.  We've seen quite a few other items there being worked on over the years.

Anybody want to take a guess what this goes to?

hey I know where that is, I drove by that place a few times and didn't even realize what it was for...

My guess would be for one of the rides in the Golden Kingdom?

The new flying Elephant ride?
(Speaking of which that new Dumbo at Disney is fantastic!)

Is that the same place that beautified El Toro last year?

Yup.  We've also seen the safari trucks there as well.  If I had to guess, I'd say they are actually removing the Golden Kingdom theme and updating it to something new, and probably less ornate, for Adventure Alley.  It's just funny to drive by something near your home and see part of a ride you know so well.

And yes, the new Dumbo really does look amazing.  Although I still have to go with the Disneyland Paris version :).

What I don't understand is how you call Audubon south Jersey.

It's in line with Philly. How is it *not* South Jersey?
