I'll be in the park with a few friends from out of town from about opening untill five. Anyone else brave enough to hit the park on the 4th?
-
I was actually planning on it but with the weather its just too much with the kids. Esp. the 1 year old. It actually isn't always that bad until later in the day for whatever the big concert is (Lonestar!) and the fireworks. Now getting out of the parking lot at closing is a completely different story lol
Let us know how it went ;)

Im gonna pass on that, A hot day with a huge crowd is not for me! Have fun though

I am going at around 5-6pm to hopefully get a ride on El Toro and then go see the fireworks with my girlfriend.
-
i tried to go today but, they said all the rides were closed due to thunderstorms in the area :'( >:(. BTW the sky was blue and clear. so i got 2 toro hats and went home.

There is a set distance from which the storms must be to close the rides. Its a good policy. Its happened before that lightning has struck something out of a blue sky. Likely, no, but it is possible. Perhaps try later? The crowds might be light from people leaving.

the storms from last night thats what they ment ...

Nope. I will be interested on how the lines are though. That's a time where the real time queue board will come in great use. I'll be at the next stop on my vacation: Knoebels! My gf and I are venturing out there for the first time!
