Title: Griffon Pics
Post by: Bubba Z on May 22, 2007, 09:05:40 PM
I had nothing to do today so I made a quick trip to BGE for the day.

There where no lines at all today in the park. The crew on Griffon was pretty fast. They can only load one train at a time due to the size of the platform I'm  guessing.

Griffon is smoother than Sheikra but lacks the tunnels. It really didn't seem Floorless sitting in the back because of the stadium seating set -up. On the drop all you see are the  Chairs in front of you.  The view from the top is really nice. Anything I missed be sure to ask about. Bottom Line..Ride in the front row!

It wouldn't be a Busch Update without a Clydesdale.

How much water actually soaks the guests from the Water Jets?

All along the black fence and then some. I thought I was standing in a dry zone and I got completely soaked taking that first water picture.

Was it worth the drive/money Bubbs???

Sexy pics as always, did you take any pics of the rest of the park? I'd like to see them!

The drive was horrible, but being there and not working totally made up for it.   It's a Beautiful park so I didn't mind giving Busch another 64 dollars to keep it that way. Here's some more pictures. Keep in mind I  really never stopped to set them up.  I just walked, pointed and clicked.  I only had 3.5 hours in the park.

MMMM DaVinci's cradle. That ride can be so good, we got on it twice, the first time it didnt even make a full circle. The next ride was off the wall.

Tom, It had to be on auto mode. I was just pointing and clicking away at stuff. Some came out great, others horrible. Sometimes you just get lucky.  I had my smaller sony S650 with me, next time I go I'll bring the 12x zoom.

I've messed around with different settings on manual mode but 90% of the time I'm in auto settings. I thought about taking a night class on Photography since I'm always carrying a camera around and then my next big investment would be a super nice
Canon EOS-1D Mark II N

Yeh
I try sometimes the built in modes like Landscape and portrait but
I forget what the picture was after I download them to my PC days later.
I just have to get around to reading and testing out the settings then download them to a laptop onsite to see the outcome.
