Makes you wonder if they'll continue allowing backpacks on their coasters since that is all that caused this to happen.
-
Youtube requested the video to be removed and it did. I wanted to see how the ride valleyed...
-
The video is still on Theme Park Review, if you wanted to watch it.

So many rules broken in just three minutes. It's also quite obvious that Disney won't let loose articles on rides after this.

The initial moment you realized your about to valley....Priceless

Completely off-topic but a similar event to this almost happened in Texas on the New Texas Giant. One of the Ride-ops heard a weird noise while the train was leaving and they hit the E-stop button, the mechanics later found out a wheel was due to be replaced and the Ride-op is getting ridiculed by Texas media because of his decision to play it safe.
It's people who say screw safety that really piss me off.

Kudos to that ride op!

There's no winning in the media. If someone doesn't have all of the limbs necessary to ride according to it's SOP, and you have signage posted...you're a jerk and should know better. A week later, someone doesn't have all of the limbs necessary to ride, you let them ride, they fall off...and you're a jerk and should know better.
