Would love to but to be honest, I'm not thrilled with how the event ends now. Especially after last year. I know they have to work with what they've got and it's tough to come up with a free weekend but ERT from 7-8:30 to me is just... well, not the same. Sorry, but I'd rather the park be open like normal and close at 10:30 and have ERT go til midnight. Still on the fence though.

not sure if Im going either
I have a season pass but not parking pass
also been very busy
-
Who can turn down AMAZING CHICKEN NUGGETS at a mexican buffet?

"Walkback to Zumanjaro & Kingda Ka at 10:15 for first ride privileges"
10:15 is what all the Season Pass holders get...so no big deal.
I was expecting at least some ERT time on Zu for its opening year.
I'll probably still go as it is a very fun event and I still have to pick up my Rolling Thunder Happy Meal.
-
I also thought maybe a short ert on Zujo
-
Tossing it around in my head. I probably will go but like Wade says I'd prefer if it went til midnight like previous years.
-
Anyone else going?
A co-worker has been asking me for a visit to the park all summer...so I offered him the RoTB option and he accepted.
Hopefully he won't be regretting that choice. ACEers + Fairgrounds could be a bit overwhelming.
It also seems like it is also earlier than previous years.
Maybe next year they will combine ROTB with Great Muslim Adventure Day (http://6flags.icnanj.org/).

Exactly. Even more difficult a choice for me because I loved this event as a way to have some father son(s) time. After last year, I'll be bolting out of that park during the Toro ERT because regardless of how accepting I am, there are just some things I really prefer not to have to explain to a 12 year old yet alone a 9 year old. Needless to say, they learned a whole lot of new vocabulary on our Nitro ride at 9:30 last year. Not cool. And I don't blame Fairgr0unds or hold a grudge one bit. It was after all THEIR event and they were gracious enough to let us crash it!
Plus, we can go to the park on a regular operating day and stay til 10 and the lines are all but gone anyway from 9-10!!
Still on the fence.. I guess I have to decide soon.

I'm just going to annoy the crew mates at the rides I am trained at :P If anyone wants a free trip up Bizarro's exit just find me and ask!
-
I caved at the last minute. Giving it one more try. Anybody else going?

Great to see everyone! This event has gotten really really popular. There was better ERT during the day.
Seems like we really lucked out given what weather could have directly hit us.
I really do think that they should pick a different date so there is no over lap with another event.
Even so this event is always much fun!

Maybe when their next coaster gets installed I'll make it to the event. I almost feel like there's a better chance of me going now that I live out of state. :)
