I believe the rumors and Lasers old spot is perfect.
-
The vacant lot is a perfect fit, but an invertigo is a waste. They need a great woodie since they won't allow Thunderhawk to show its greatness anymore.
-
The pretty grass area near Steel Force is being saved for that.

^ I felt the same way bubba, the question is when
-
I've been told that area is unlikely as it's surrounded by protected wetlands.
-
Where is Flight Deck going in a couple of years? KI seems most likely. After that CW, VF... anywhere else?
-
Valleyfair may have trouble fitting that layout. They have a lot of restrictions due to protected wetlands as well. Does Wonderland have plenty of room to expand? It was hard to tell what the boundaries were when Bubba and I visited. Also, GAm's Flight Deck is a bit of a terrain coaster. The finale dives down to the lagoon at a lower level than the rest of the ride. They may have to do a lot of earth-moving to relocate it.

I suppose the pipe dream I was having at the time was new Fight Deck in, old vekoma flight deck in the trash. If more room is needed... Time warp can go too! I assumed since CGA FD is so short it wouldn't be too hard. But I see what your saying about the drop off at the end of FD. CW has some room for expansion but it does have very hard borders with major highway, or main roads in all 4 directions. Would Cedar Fair even move it if the park closed? It would be about 20 years old if/when it happens. I've always heard that despite it's short layout and lower than most B&M invert ratings that alot of ppl prefer FD to alot of newer, and larger Inverts. Much like batman's. More intense, and more to the point.

It is one of their more intense non-stop pacing inverts. Short and sweet. I've grown to like it much more than I originally did when it seemed to be inferior to Batman at the time it opened. It's a very refreshing alternative now.
