Title: Great Adventure Staying Open Right?
Post by: sfgreatadventure94 on March 18, 2009, 03:04:39 PM
I keep hearing that Six Flags is in trouble of bankruptcy, but I also hear that Great Adventurewould be safe.  What does this mean?  The park will stay and be under new management?  I have been a fan of this park since I was 2 and Im not letting it go.

Yes, the park is fine to the time being. Actually, there is a thread with an article that related to this very issue you might like to read.

Most of the parks themselves (especially Great Adventure) are pretty profitable, the company itself isn't in great financial shape at the moment. But truth be told the new management we've had for the past couple years have been trying to turn things around (most of the debt the company has came from before their time), and hopefully they will get things straightened out. They are trying.

But yeah there is no danger of Great Adventure closing right now.

I am going to close this thread as we have the other one open about the situation.
