Six Flags just updated their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/sixflagsgreatadventure) with pictures (http://www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=69421318512#!/album.php?aid=186013&id=69421318512) saying "Funstruction has begun!", with photos showing that Scream Machine is already being
scrapped removed.
Get ready to cry:

It looks like the park plans on using their Facebook to keep us updated on the construction of Chang The Green Lantern the 2011 coaster, which should be interesting! And a very nice thing to do.

The first person to get a real replica photo of this photoshopped one gets a cookie:

extremely dislike that this is actually happening. very dissappointed

Too bad the deconstruction crew didn't get confused and start taking down SUF instead. Wouldn't be sorry to see that one go except that it takes people away from other lines.

I can't tell from the picture--is the track being crushed?
-
The quicker Corporate scraps GASM and throws Chang up the quicker they can thumb their nose at the Kentucky state fair for still wanting Chang back. It will also give us more B&M coasters than anyone else in the world from what I was tallying..
Besides that before the ones with the most were all SF parks with 4.
That doesn't look like track being crushed, I'd say rusted supports from somewhere.

It's the transfer track into the maintenance bay. I went by today going to HH and saw they weren't really doing much right now. It just looks so different being the only ride not doing anything.
-
I took a stroll down by the tortoises today and looked at GASM. It was sad looking at it with gaps in the track down behind the station...until I realized there was no station. Then it got really sad.

As odd as it is to say, I am just really glad Steve Urbanowicz didn't have to see this. I know he would be heart broken. Absolutely.

No doubt! I was thinking the same thing the other day. :(
