El Toro Has a Friend.

Not sure which is worse: An Intamin El Toro that feels like a steel coaster and is full of dead spots or a forceless GCI El Toro that feels like a woodie. ;)
-
^ Fortunately, our El Toro is unlike either of those
-
Whoa. Didn't even here about this one until today. Pretty neat.

Not the one I've ridden.
-
No estoy de acuerdo! El Toro es la bomba. No me gusta el queso caliente en mis pantalones
Translate: I disagree! El Toro is the bomb. I do not like hot cheese in my pants! ;D
-
Just the same name. Its not even near the same ride.
-
When whatever park this is with the GCI El Toro informed GCI that the name was going to be EL toro. What do you think their reaction was?!?
ummmm you realize there already is an el toro that blows the doors off of ours.. right?

I wouldnt like that either. But the other el toro looks kinda cool
-
El viaje en otra parece muy mal! El Toro golpes a cabo.
Translation: The other ride seems really bad! El Toro blows it out.
-
I bet the "other" El Toro could give the local El Toro a run for its money. There's three GCI's in the US alone that I think are better overall coasters than GAdv's trophy coaster.
And since someone is bound to ask, I'm thinking of: Gwazi, Thunderhead and Ozark Wildcat.

What is this cheap stunt imposters...
-
ozark is SBNO and the trains are headed to georgia to run on a sub par CCI
-
Gwazi??? Dude, that's just crazy. What a pos. Rides should break ribs to be good. I've had one good ride on gwazi out of probably 30 and it was in the rain which probably helped.
-
I can't edit my post on the mobile so double-post ...
I meant shouldn't break ribs to be good LOL
-
like Ravine Flyer II !
-
Were you're hands up when this happend? Cuz on RF2 hands up can be a rough go.
-
A rough wooden ride is the Hellcat (J2) @ Clemonton park. I actually had breathing issues after the ride it was so rough.
-
^^ Yeah my hands were up, but I also felt like I was sitting too high in the seat.
-
Wade, every time I go to Tampa, Gwazi absolutely rocks! It's got powerful airtime and laterals and great pacing with no dead spots. I've never found it to be too rough, just powerful and I've never gotten a rain ride, but Rob has and said he and I would ride it for hours non-stop if we could.
J2/Hellcat before the trims was my second favorite woodie, but the trims ruin the second half, so it doesn't rate anywhere near as high with me now.
Chetah (CCI in Georgia) is actually pretty darn good after a track rehab. If they can keep it maintained, I think that ride will rise in the rankings. I expected a total POS, but was shocked to find it very enjoyable, fresh out of rehab. Who knows what it's like now, 17 months later though.
