Wow that is sad...Imagine if that happened to gadv. I would prolly never feel normal again in my life...Gadv is pretty much my second home.

its a real shame the Texas Cyclone is going to be scrapped.  I wish they would pull a Phoenix and implant this ride somewhere that is sorely in need of a new great coaster.

Like Six Flags America?

So now where do all the GADV Defunct coasters go since astroworld is closed?

last i read nothing is set in stone no one is committing to anything.

Theres soo much damage, it would be hard to salvage anything really.  Such a shame.  Alot of terrible things have happened this year in the coaster world.

I do know that Six Flags signed a lease when they took over Jazzland that stated they MUST rebuild in the event of a natural disaster.  They took a gamble (again) and lost big on this one.

The park will likely return.  I'm just not sure its going to be 2006.  And remember, they are self-insured so that doesn't really help much either.

Get out! Is Ultra Twister really going to SFA? Now I need to make a return trip there if this is true. I wanted to ride it in it's modified form or, maybe it will suffer the same fate as The lightening loop half rotting away in a field :(
