There was also a good article at nytimes but I can't post the link with my phone.  I see this as a good thing.  Thor seems to have been jerking everybody around hoping to ride out Bloombergs term but now that he is seeking a third, that plan is screwed lol.  Now hopefully nyc can step up and do some improvements.  The area still  needs help!

This is huge.  Imagine if they bought all of the land and were able to protect it.  Hopefully in time they can attract more business to the area to make it what it once was.
