It looks like Kingda Ka is no longer the world's fastest coaster with the opening of Ring Racer in Germany. I wonder how this will change the marketing of Ka? Will signage etc have to be changed?

Eh...its still the tallest coaster with the largest drop. Plus 128 MPH is still hella fast. Could easily just change it to the fastest coaster in the States.

Everything I have read about this ride is that it has yet to reach that record breaking speed? Did it finally do it? I had also heard they would just open it to the public while still tweaking it.
-
It's not officially open yet and it not officially the fastest coaster yet. The official opening date is August 15th, don't worry I'll let you guys know!

This is the only sign they are really going to have to change.
Sorry couldn't resist.
It is still that tallest and fastest in the US so they probably won't change anything.
(Thanks for the picture Joe)
