I wonder if Cedar Fair is buying.  Because it seems as though they could greatly expand if they really wanted to.

Just another small park unloaded to make some money quick.  I believe that this strategy is a decent one, so SF makes money quick, and doesn't have to pour anything back into the parks which they sell.  If they were being unprofitable, or close to that, why keep it around?

I'd suggest keeping an eye on SFI news. I have a feeling their gonna announce another park closing real soon. Don't ask me why, i just have a feeling about this.
