Looks like there giving some TLC on Parachuter's Perch and Houdini is opening back up!

Yes I noticed both of these yesterday in the park . As well as King Da ka running all 4 trains , nitro running 3 and Bizarro running 3 it was a great day in the park. Rolling thunder was also running 4 trains believe it or not but it is all true . NOW WHY does this not happen in the summer ???

But alot of people haven't ridden it in a while and it they brought it back with all the props, then its a good ride.

And nobody noticed my insanely obvious houdini hint in a thread last week lol. Yes, this is good news :). And the park really needs this additional capacity for fright fest!

I made a comment that I wanted to stop posting once I reached my favorite ride at GA. Matt thinks his favorite is Houdini, even tho I know it's El Toro. :P

Houdini is a cool, overlooked ride. It's worthy of my support. ;) Everyone else can be The coasters. I want Houdini. :)

That is awesome news about Houdini! Now there's definitely no reason to go to SFNE. They ruined SROS/Bizarro big time and now our own Houdini is back open again.

dude, now that houdini has reopened, that's my favorite flat ride. my old existing favorite was the twister

Houdini was open for Fall Family Fun Night!
It is working great and had a crowd all night.

Went on Houdini today. I forgot how much I liked that ride.

Houdini opened all day Saturday and the line never let up once . Even as we were leaving at around 8:45 there were still people on line . We rode it and I have to say all the effects were working and it was much better then the one in SFNE when we rode that this summer . Great Job SF on opening it again !

When i went on family fall fun night i noticed in the crystal ball the face was new ... i think. and my guess is that it's now a halloween attraction.

Did they change the preshow or actual ride audio? Or did SFNE's version really throw off my perception of how this ride use to be.

They did not change the preshow or actual ride audio but when we went to SFNE there were no effects inside ( the table with the head wasnt there, the lightning in the room Etc.. The effects outside werent all working either at SFNE ) To see all the effects working here just reminded me of how good this ride was when it first opened. It was nice to see it up and running . :)

I've noticed it every time I walked by. I've always wondered what they would do with it. Even if it's open just for fright fest, It's worth keeping

if houdini leaves, wham! new drop tower.

I kind of doubt that. For how much they cost now. You might as well get another Wild mouse coaster.

A nicely painted parachute ride is the closet your going to get to a drop tower.

the only complaint I had about the ride was for some reason when they told the guests to exit from the moving part of the ride, you heard it in the preshow as well.

I haven't been on it yet. But they could tone the speakers down for the exit voice. It's not like it'll explode or something (ring racer reference)

I am pretty sure that would be a violation of safety as if you aren't able to hear the ride operator, you are in potential danger.

I meant so you couldn't hear it through the door. I do know it's a safety hazard if you can't hear the ride op
