This is the first rise and scream event season pass holders can grab an extra an hour of Extended Ride Time before the park opens to the public.
-
I'd only consider it if I knew the rides ahead of time. I tried it last year and got burned by Superman and GASM being the only rides open.
-
Interesting. June 6th is Coaster Celebration. I hope to God that we won't be sharing our "exclusive" ride time with the public. That's all I have to say.

I think you will be enjoying rides on Nitro, Batman the Ride, and The Dark Knight Coaster.
While the Rise and Scream people will again be enjoying Superman and GASM.
-
Yeah, no thanks. The rides are better after they've warmed up anyway. Morning ERT just isn't my thing. I'd rather sleep in so I can enjoy the long day.

ill def be there in tow with some good friends, love to meet anyone whos goin
-
Do you think it will be crowded the day/night before Rise and Scream
-
Why would it matter? Rise and Scream is at 9:30 AM of the designated day and is only for season pass holders.
-
Isn't Coaster Celebration that day?
-
I'd be more afraid of crowds on Friday due to the nice weather report for Friday (or it just being Friday).
Yes they scheduled two ERT events on the same day.
It should prove to be interesting just for that fact.
-
What about the monday after rise and scream?
-
Yes I am a season pass holder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh, because people (even passholders) have to pay extra for Coaster Celebration ERT. So it's weird that they did both on the same day.
-
Apparently ERT for Coaster Celebration has been cancelled due to a lack of "interest".
-
Its really just too much money for CC. Like if I got a few more incentives such as apparel or something, then I would definitely go.
-
I would go to CC if it wasn't so expensive too ... I wonder how rise and scream is going to be ?? I was thinking of going to the one in July but last year the only one I went to was GASM and Superman ... Not my idea of fun ..
-
I was never big on Rise and Scream. After Riding every Ride in the Park as much as I (and alot of other People around here) have, it really is not a big deal to me. I am going to the Park tomorrow during the Day, I am sure most of the Rides will be Walk-On's anyway, so why should I get up early on a Weekend.
-
^Take some photos of kingda ka see how its going. ;D
-
I will. I haven't had a Ride on it yet this Season. It will be my first stop
-
I agree about Coaster Celebration being too expensive. SF St. Louis is having a similar event in a few weeks where it costs $10 for season pass holders and I believe $25 if you don't have a pass. The Riding of the Bull event in September is a far better deal.
-
I agree with everyone about the crazy cost for Coaster Celebration. It's just not worth it if you have a season pass.
-
I have to say that we may have to join ACE just for the riding of the bull event. Now that is a ride all 5 of us can ride and that event sounds like a lot of fun .
-
yes i just got a email the cc ert has been cancelled now the cc will be able to be part of a video shoot for six flags tv.
-
No big turn out for CC this year?
At least now it really is something a little more special.
I predict El Toro and Bizarro for Rise and Scream.

I would recommend joining ACE. I believe the Riding of the Bull event is $18 when you have a season pass. That's a much more reasonable price and a very good value for what you'd be getting. Unfortunately, we can't attend this year, but I'm hoping it's successful enough that it becomes a yearly event.

Went on El Toro 5 times this morning . The park was INSANELY crowded did all we wanted to do Except Kingda Ka . The line was out past the sign for the ride . WAY too long for me . Bizarro was not running for Rise and Scream .

so I went to the park today and stayed for about an hour when it first open because my little brother couldn't get on anything and around 1 o clock the lines were long and I didn't want to go on them by my self but I did manage to get on bizzaro and it was weird the sound didn't make any sense the fire was cool but random going around the corkscrew was cool but i didn't get that eather and why was there a horse sculpture on the side of the building can someone tell me if it suppose to be like that
-
Huh, I don't think your at the right place. Maybe you should check out GAOnline.

Like the Vacuum. They shoot alot at GA, haven't seen them this Season yet though. I took the Day off from the Park today. First Saturday in a while I haven't been at the Park. Now is when it start's to get too crowded for me, I don't like lines. We might go early tomorrow for a few hours, then leave when it fills up. I will be going this week after Work. I try to go alot during the Week while School is still in, and they will be letting out for Summer soon, so enjoy it while you can.
-
Rise and Scream was decent (who can complain about rerides on El Toro)
But boy did it get crowded yesterday!
It seemed like right at noon everything had a huge line.
Either summer is here or TobyMac is really popular.

Believe it or not, those Christian Concerts really draw in alot of people whenever we host them.
-
We were actually trying to setup a group outing for our church on August 15th because of Sean Hannity's freedom concert. Imagine my surprise when this separately ticketed event sells out months before the actual date. Yes, a concert with Sean as the host and Christian music artists sells out Gadv's arena months in advance! So needless to say, the park will be insane that day. For the record, the reason it is a separate ticket is because the proceeds benefit charity. And the concert ticket does include park admission.

Very nice and polite crowd on Saturday.
-
Wait...a GOOD religious crowd? Why did I miss this? Between Disney and Great Adventure, I have never had the pleasure of dealing with any religious crowd that was an overall good experience. I either end the day frustrated with people of my own religion, or embarrassed for another religion that they were represented in that way. It's pretty sad.
-
You are forgetting Easter sunday for the buyout Reggie. They are usually well behaved to lol.
Yes, I've heard the same thing about Disney but that doesn't as much surprise me down there. Unless I'm missing something, gadv generally has no problems with these events? Other than perhaps the norm since it's also open to regular guests to. I hear ya though! Sad :(
-
They're ok...except they trash the park. It's hard to get a group that's well-behaved and clean, lol. It's usually either "I believe in *insert deity here*, so I don't need your rules!", or "I believe in *insert diery here*, so I don't believe in trash cans!" I would always give the new group a chance, but just about every time they proved they were just like the others. :(
-
^LoL *insert Diety Here* ;D
-
Any large group is bad. I worked my last buyout day in 2002. I'd need to be paid extra to ever do that again!!
There's nothing like watching more people try to board from the exit of the ride than the entrance. And the kids who's parents work for Phizer need to see more of the belt!
-
The most shocking thing I ever saw was during Pfizer day. I watched thus guy get a tray that was overloaded with a whole pie of Papa Johns, fries, two orders of chicken fingers, and a couple sodas. Back up from the counter with them, bite a chicken finger once, turn to the right, and dump the whole tray in the garbage. I was stunned. My only complaint with them was that the garbage cans were so heavy, lol. Otherwise, they were mostly clean and polite, which was all that I asked for at that time.
-
^wow thats sad. :'( But if your looking for good food thats cheap, the Johnny Rockets in plaza del Carnival Has a family basket with 3 chicken strips, lots of fries and onion rings for 8 bucks! La cocina is also cheap and has good food.
