Title: Green Lantern on site! And other photos
Post by: jglonek on September 25, 2010, 12:34:41 PM
We took a trip to the park today to see how things were.

One thing is for sure: Scream Machine is definitely gone.

Biggest news: Green Lantern pieces are on site in the parking lot! The track is painted hunter green and the supports are black!

And if anyone doubted this is Chang, there is an un(re)painted part of the lift hill on site as well.

It's good to see they took the time to clean up and paint the rest, though!

You can see our live update from the day on our Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/gadvoutpost)!

Here are all the construction photos from the day! (http://www.gadvoutpost.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=523)

But we didn't just go to the park to see construction. We did venture inside as well, to see what was going on and to check out Fright Fest preparations!

- Fright Fest decorations are going up around the park.
- Temple of the Tiger is closed with a sign saying "No Shows" and a security guard posted in the back. Temple of the Tiger merchandise is 50% off. This isn't a good sign is it?
- Houdini was closed
- The boardwalk area looks weird without Scream Machine
- All the coasters were running today, which was nice.

You can see all of the above, and more, in our park photos from the day! (http://www.gadvoutpost.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=522)

Houdini opened not too long after I saw you. Bad timing on your part!

I like how everyone in the park was so stuck up that this was a brand new ride and wasn't moved from another park, customers and employees.
