Here's something different to talk about and a way to get to know some of us a little bit more. I recently filled out my Golden Tickets ballot and had to think hard about my favorite coasters and parks. I thought it would be fun for all of us to share our favorites and see if there are any trends/conclusions to be made.
Approximately how many different coasters have you ridden?
What are your 15 favorite wood coasters?
What are your 15 favorite steel coasters?
Do you prefer wood or steel?
What are your five favorite parks?
Name five parks you want to get to someday?
Do you like rides other than coasters? Explain a little...
This should help us see what kind of tastes we all have in coasters/parks and to give a little background to the group as to what makes us tick as enthusiasts. Don't worry so much about ranking order, but try to at least decide on your ten definite favorites and fill in the last five with the ones your wavering on. Personally I have a real hard time narrowing it down, hence the "top 15" instead of the conventional "top ten". Don't be embarrassed if you haven't been to as many places as I and some others have (trust me, you've got an exciting journey ahead of you). This is not about bragging rights. It's just something different to talk about and a way to get to know everyone a little better. Take some time to think about your answers (I just wasted a good two hours typing this up myself). Feel free to discuss and not only post your lists. This can be a great opportunity to ask questions about rides you haven't been on.
Please try to keep the list format consistent by copying and pasting to make it easy for everyone to read and compare. Thanks and I'll now start this *coaster* train a-rollin'…

Do you like rides other than coasters? Explain a little...
I like just about everything, despite being prone to motion sickness on some flat rides. Log flumes, bumper cars, dark rides, and flying scooters are my favorites. And I have a soft spot for anything old and rare. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.
Ok, let's keep it going...

I don't really ride many ride because my family will have none of them. I generally like them but coaster dominate in almost all circumstances. I have a thing for log rides.
-
Thanks for playing. I didn't realize you had been to Knoebels already. That's good. Hopefully PPP won't be too rushed for you then and you can enjoy some of the flat rides.
I'm curious as to how close Canada's Wonderland came to making your top park list. Is it a fave or do you suffer from home park boredom like I did back in Iowa? Granted most of CW's coasters are mediocre, it's a beautiful park with lots of stuff to do.
-
I'll definitely play once I update my park and coaster list. It's been a while and I've hit a lot of new parks this year.
-
I'll update my list and get back to this. I haven't ridden as many as Matt but for a sixteen year old w/o a passport and super rich parents I think I'm doing pretty good...
-
I've been to Knoebels twice. The past two years. I haven't hit up too many flats. Not even the flyers. Flume is awesome, as is the train. Old smokey is rediculous. I've also been on skyride, Haunted Mansion, and Power Surge I believe it was called. I'd imagion getting on the POP plan for PPP will change this.
Wonderlands probably 6th. I don't hate it, even though the coasters are weak. At least there is a ton of them to choose from. Everything else about wonderland is fabulous and I love just being there. All of my top 5 parks are just so much better. haha

Statue of Liberty disease....
Anything somewhere else is better than most things at home...
New Yorkers often don't think much of the Statue of Liberty, and take visitors there but never go themselves. After all, it's always been there. Much like many locals have no idea just how incredibly wonderful Great Adventure truly is, and prefer Cedar Point...which must be better, after all...it's many miles from New Jersey!

This is also known as the CN Tower/Niagara Falls syndrome in Southern Ontario. I was 23 before I went up the CN Tower... never back since.

Chuck, you still won't call avalanche, "hellcat," yet?
-
I won't either. It will always be AvaLAUNCH to me. :)

I rode it as Avalanche, not Hellcat...haha!

I won't even call tsunami J2 half the time, so I know what you mean.

Wow, Europa only gets #3? I have huge expectations for Europa and am expecting it to knock Blackpool out of my #1 park.
Knoebels I could possibly see, but Lake Compounce? It’s obviously a special park for us personally, but if you took away Boulder Dash, how many of us would ever really go there? There’s certainly no other decent coasters there. ;)
-
You've been to Blackpool? That must of been a fun trip!
-
Boulder Dash is THAT good. :)
-
You've been to Blackpool? That must of been a fun trip!
Yup, we did the ACE European Coaster trip in 2002. There was 1 week in the UK and 1 on the mainland. We only did the UK week, but it was still an excellent trip. Blackpool is amazing!!!
-
I've always wanted to get out to Europe. The parks I've heard of across the pond are all very interesting and I want to get out there for a summer trip or something just to experience their atmosphere.
-
Boulder Dash blows every coaster in Europa Park away, sure the park is probably 10x better than Lake Compounce park wise, but maybe it was just the people I was with that made it a good time.
-
Absolutely, I'm sure BD is better than the Europa park coasters. I was just curious why you said LC is better than Europa park-wise. When I think park rankings, I consider it to be the whole package--coasters, flat rides, dark rides, theming, landscaping, food, etc.

Wow, Kennywood din't break into your top 5? Hershey's Wildcat over Martin's Comet? Wow. Behemoth over Phantom's Revenge? I need to go to Wonderland with you sometime so you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. :)
-
That's kind of what I was thinking... maybe behemoth's trims failed while he was riding it.
-
OK, so let me explain.... (to the guy who has Gwazi over the phoenix, and no El Toro in the top 15) ;)
1. Kennywood not in the top 5. I only spent about 3.5 hrs at kennywood. Only rode each coaster 1 time, exterminator 0 times. PFN's makes it impossible to get a feel for KW. I knew it would be different than an ordinary day, but not to this extent. It was sooooo dark, and confusing. Sooo many rides were closed, turtle, paratrooper, pitfall, all water rides, etc. etc. Freezing cold. Basically after getting my 1 ride on each coaster I decided to quit while I was ahead. I considered a second go on Phantom but decided against it. Mostly for my freezing wife's sake. Even though I knew the map it was hard to get around in the dark having never been there before. I had the hardest time finding exterminator, only to realize the line was probably over an hour long. I must say I still had a great time, and I could see KW getting in my top 5, but for now my grade on it is totally incomplete.
2. Wildcat/Martins Comet... You can have em both. Neither ride has ever done anything for me. I must say I've only ridden comet on the last day of thier operating year and I believe it had to of been running badly. I call the 2 of them a tie for me.
3. Behemoth over PR... To be fair I must say I enjoyed my 1 ride on PR more than probably 80% of my behemoth rides. But it was just one ride, and it was at night in the back seat. So basically it was under optimal conditions. PR was amazing IMO. Most Unique 200 ft+ coaster i've been on by far. Only complaint was a little too short. But the shortness seems to make it ultra intense. I would imagion after 5-10 rides I'll have a better idea of where it truley ranks. I wouldn't tell behemoth is the best steel coaster on earth but it's still one of my favourites. The difference between best and favourite. (Example space mt, or BBW). Storm Runner I've had 4 rides and all were 100% amazing so thats why it's so high up.
-
PS. Best part about Kennywood. Fun and Unique coasters. All 3 woodies were so fun, and so unique. I was surprised how close in goodness they all were to each other. I almost liked them all the same amount. Of Course Thunderbolt, JR, then Racer was my order but it was truly so close. SR was very fun but the 2nd half of the ride was dead I thought. 1st half better than expected though. I likes the crawling start to the launch as opposed to a stationary launch.
-
I don't have Gwazi above Phoenix. Don't read anything into the ordering of my top 15. Other than maybe the top 3, I can't decide what I like better. EL Toro just doesn't do much for me, because of the uncomfortable restraint. That'll make or break a ride for me, no matter how good it is. (The Ultimate was a big disappointment for the same reason.)
Martin's Comet is a truly great ride though. Hope you get to ride it again under more favorable conditions. It's loaded with airtime and rivals Ravine Flyer 2 for best woodie in that general area.
Glad you "got" the woodies at Kennywood. They really are fun rides. Thunderbolt is still one of my all-time favorites. The back seat is just delicious. For me it stacks up quite well against all of the crazy good woodies that have been built in the last 20 years.
Phantom's Revenge grows on you. I was disappointed in it the first time I rode it (and I rode it in the back at Phantom Fright Nights 2006). A few rides later that night, I was really digging it, but still not blown away. But when I visited again the following year and rode it, I really "got" it and it's been my favorite steel coaster next to Space Mountain ever since. It takes time to get used to the "shortness" and realize how amazing everything else about it is. As Shoe described it after his first ride, "it's violent!"
I totally get your view thus far of Kennywood. I'm actually surprised you enjoyed it as much as you did under the circumstances. Definitely get there in the summer when everything is open and it's not cold out. The water rides are great and the park looks very different without the Halloween decor.

Comet = RF2 ?
I must have got RF2 on it's best day, and comet on it's worst.
The ride opps on Racer were commically bad when I was there.
-
Guess it all comes down to the rider's experience. Kingda la jumped way up on my list after they installed the old i305 harnesses. I always rank loch news high because every time I ride it the ops are awesome and I always get a hell of a lot movement throughout the layout.
-
Comet = RF2 ?
I must have got RF2 on it's best day, and comet on it's worst.
The ride opps on Racer were commically bad when I was there.
The first time I rode Comet (on RF2's opening day mind you), it was pretty good and less disappointing than RF2. When I went back at the end of that season (closing day actually), RF2 had broken in, but still has a pretty tame ending compared to the rest of the ride. We went to Martin's earlier that day and Silver Comet was kicking butt. Frissbeking and I both had a great time on it!
Re the Racer:
Yeah, it's sad how that ride is operated now. I think it's mostly because of the seat belts being added by PTC after the Holiday World accident (Stupid lawsuits). Before that, the Racer was operated really efficiently. When I first visited in 1991, they actually had the next batch of riders stand on the platform while the trains were out on the circuit. As soon as the trains pulled in and the previous riders started leaving the train, you could sit down. Basically it was as efficient as Phoenix is still operated today. Considering there were no railings on the platform, they probably wouldn't be doing that today (stupid lawsuits again), but without the seat belts, there wouldn't be much to slow the ops down, other than all of those annoying lose articles people carry around with them.
But if you think that's bad, you should see how the Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is operated now. Ugh. It's a Mobius racing woodie as well (single track where you come back on the opposite side of the station that you left from), except they run 4 trains, have a separate load and unload section in the station AND still manage to stack like mad. The two front trains aren't allowed to dispatch until the two returning trains have returned and have been unloaded and then advanced another 5 feet or so into the station, because of the new control system that was recently installed. So even once you're loaded and locked in, you have to wait about 2 minutes until you're dispatched!
-
The only advice I can give on Kennywood is never go for your first visit during PFN. Sadly, you didn't ask my advice, DKNY ;). (My first trip was PFN as well, but I absolutely was blown away by Phantom, and it was even better when I went back).

Do you like rides other than coasters? Explain a little...
I love dark rides, drop rides scare me but I ride them, I like stuff like maXair or Freak Outs, I always ride the train if possible, swinging ships can be fun, I have a new love for the Looper, Moser family bounce towers are AWESOME!
-
You've never been to disneyworld!!! Dude, you have to go there now!!!
-
He knows. He has been to Disneyland though, but Space Mountain was closed!
-
Why 1/10 for Coney island cyclone Clint?
-
I had Clint ride the last row for his first time. He HATED it! lol
-
I should keep that in mind when I go up there next spring... if it's still there.
-
The Cyclone is protected. It's not going anywhere. Ride the next to last row for the wildest ride without the crunchiness of the rear axle seat. The last row is even a bit much for me.
-
Screamscape said the contract was up at the end of the year.
-
The lease to run the ride is being put up for bid because the current lease holder wants to amend the lease, and that can't be done without it being put out to bid to everyone or anyone interested. The coaster is a protected landmark and isn't in danger of going anywhere for the forseeable future.
-
Furthermore, the coaster is owned by the city, regardless of who operates the ride. It's not owned by the most recent lease holder, Carol Albert, who also operated Astroland before the new Luna came to fruition.
-
I think it is about time to bump this thread again as almost a year has passed and some of us probably ridden some new rides they haven't gotten on before (or had much better experiences with past rides).

Do you like rides other than coasters? Explain a little...
-I am still interested in historical rides. I was able to ride both of the Derby Racers in America (Cedar Point and Rye Playland) in the span of a year. I have a new found love for whips and old school dodge-ems. I absolutely adore unique flat-rides like Air Race at Luna Park although my count for those is rather small.
Miscellaneous Stats:
- visited 23 parks across 7 states
- been on both derby racers in North America
- been on both dive machines in North America
- the total amount of inversions between all the rides I've ridden is 138
- the average opening year of the coasters I've ridden is 1976
- over the span of 2011 I've ridden 17 new roller coasters (21 total)
- I've only had one roller coaster break down while I was riding it (Superdooperlooper)
--- I have ridden my first types of these roller coasters in 2011:
- Spinning Wild Mouse
- Zamperla Flyer
- Anton Schwarzkopf designed
- Millennium Flyer Trains
- Great Coasters International Designed or Built
- Vertical Lift Coaster
- Moto-Coaster
-
No Holiday world, Knoebels, or Kennywood... Come on B-Mac ;)
-
Always got my college years. And besides, the map of North America I have in my room has every park in the US tacked with the one's I've visited in Green, the one's I haven't in Red and my top 5 want to visits in Yellow. I wake up every morning and look at it, too.
But anyways, 116 before you turn 18 is pretty darn good right?
-
Good total... You've just been riding the wrong ones. ;)
-
No need to go to Canada until you've ridden at least 400 more here in the US. ;)
116 at 17 gets the AV Matt seal of approval. Sorry I missed you at Hershey yesterday. Glad you got your Anton on!
-
I've only ridden 3 coasters this year, very depressing year for me.

I didn't think about checking my facebook until like 3 anyways. It's cool, I can always try for Knoebel's or a Coaster Enthusiast event.

I wasn't implying CW. I was talking about Knoebels, HW, and Kennywood. If you've been to hershey certainly Knoebels can't be a huge problem.
-
Just looking at your list again B-Mac... Very good steel list, and yet horrible wood list. Thats cool though, more greatness to look forward to. I'm still under 100 coasters barely and after Ocboulderfest I have none of the Great woodies left to experience in North America. I kind of wish I didn't seek out all the best rides first. But it's hard to deny the best woodies. Alot of coaster counts depend on where you are located.. I can't chaulk up a huge list without traveling very far. however some of the best parks are 5-10 hrs away. Being so young isn't likely to do one any favours either. I can recall on;y wanting to go to Cedar point from grade 9 until OAC(canadian grade 13) and finally my parents took me after 5 years of begging. Didn't get back into coasters until 10 years later. Internet probably played a roll.
In summary... go to KNOEBELS!
-
Yeah that is next years project. I also have Holiday World and Kennywood to try out. I actually was looking at colleges that tailored to my wishes of being an engineer and were somewhat near those three parks. But I didn't like that idea so I'm taking a more affordable route.
I also noticed going through all the rides that sooperdooperlooper wasn't my first Schwarz... It actually was Laser when I was 13. I didn't realize it until I noticed the resemblance in the trains. I also rode Scorpion @ BGT which is another Schwarz back in 2008.
It was much harder for me to make a top 10 from woods than it was for a top 20 in steels. I had almost 30 major steels to choose from while I really only had like 8 substantial woods.
-
I was just poking fun at ya, Canada. :)

Sorry if I missed any you've ridden, but I think you'll find you still have lots of good wood to get to in the US.
Tremors and Timber Terror at Silverwood?
New Mexico Rattler at Cliff's?
Ozark Wildcat (if it ever reopens)
Georgia Cyclone (on a good day)
Dania Beach Hurricane (if it gets saved/reopens)
Rampage at Alabama Adventure
Did you ride Shivering Timbers? It was AMAZING this year!
Prowler at Worlds of Fun
I have an idea for a new thread: "AV Matt's Required Riding"...
-
Don't forget thunderhead... I was more so talking about the obvious Voyage, El Toro, BD, and Phoenix... which are usually every lists top 4. You could expand that to Ravine Flyer as well. I know there are still alot of good ones. Oh, a Dells trip still offers alot of wood as well. Timbers might be next year.
-
No Thunderhead yet? Damn boyeeee.
-
Thunderhead is a hike from here. I've only been at it 4 years.
-
Understood. I guess I assumed you'd ridden more of the top woodies with what you were saying. You have plenty of good ones to look forward to. You may like some more than the "top" rides you've already ridden.
-
I wish I had the opportunity to hit New England this year but I guess that project is on hold for the forseeable future. It would've been nice to get that Boulder Dash credit along with the apparently epic Wooden Warrior. I also hear Zippin Pippin n Wisconsin packs a punch, too.
-
I've got alot of real good ones left. A reference point for what I was talking about is the CBuzz top 100. After next weekend I will have all of the top 8 under my belt with #9, and 10 being Thunderhead, and Goliath... Nothing to snooze at, but at this point I would rather repeat some i've been on than treak to those 2. But yeah you are right alot of good ones left. SFStl, Dells, Thunderhead, Prowler, Timbers, Rumbler, Gwazi, and so on.
-

So far I have liked them kind of in the order most others do. I'm thinking there is a chance BD could be so awesome that it will be my favourite. Twister was way above ranking for me for my first two knoebels visits. The first time I went I liked it more than Phoenix. But it's dropped off alot with re-rides. I find the surprise of the layout was what I really liked but now I know it all too well.
On the topic of woodies, why is El Toro the only one of it's kind in NA? and when will there be another? and where?
-
It's expensive for a wooden coaster, has above average downtime for a wooden coaster and is a guest relations nightmare for customers not fitting. Mostly I think it's the money. Dick Kinzel once said they'd never build one if I recall.
-
The CW GM when asked about one said something like not over my dead body. If Toro wins the golden ticket 3 years in a row would that change things?
-

Have to disagree with the downtime part :). Aside from growing pains during it's opening year and a cable breaking the following, it's been absolutely outstanding. It has had no downtime to speak of this season at all (although now it will break since I just said that!).
The number 1 reason is likely cost but with the number of awards for El Toro and the fact that the new Texas Giant turned out to be a hit shows that woodies can in fact be marketable and keep people coming back so perhaps things might change soon? In terms of ride rankings at Gadv, El Toro and Nitro are consistantly ranked at the very top along with Kingda Ka.
Enthusiasts aside, the general public absolutely loves this ride and I have to also wonder why we have yet to see one annouced in the states as well.
-
Martin's Comet is a truly great ride though. Hope you get to ride it again under more favorable conditions. It's loaded with airtime and rivals Ravine Flyer 2 for best woodie in that general area./quote]
Comet was running really good last week. We got to the park around 7 and got in about 4 laps before they closed @ 8:30 ;) The flume has a basic layout but was a complete soaker. The spinning mouse, not so much. Hit the release and spun once the whole cycle.
I've only ridden 3 coasters this year, very depressing year for me.
Don't worry Chuck, I only have 5 new credits this year as well.
-
Fair season is starting up around here and a trip is in the works for Parque Warner Madrid and Parque Attractiones de Madrid.
-
Every time I visit the park, El Toro breaks down at least once, while I'm in line or within view of it, for a decent amount of time. It may be more reliable now by Intamin standards and steel coaster standards, but as far as conventional wooden coasters go (they don't break down much), I still say it has above average downtime for a wooden coaster.

Didn't you say El Toro and Intamins in general hate you with a passion at one point?
-
^it's a mutual relationship between AV Matt and Intamin
-
This is the sole reason Liviathan is a B&M... To lure AV back to CW.
It wasn't down the day I was there. But that was only 1 day. Ka was down 100% of the day.
Bubba, the spinning mouse at Martins is the worst coaster on earth!
-
To clarify, I'm not talking about being down ALL DAY. I'm talking about a 10-30 minute breakdown at least once a day it seems, where as most woodies can run flawlessly for an entire day without a single breakdown.
I don't hate all Intamins, just the ones that hate me. ;) Balder is awesome sauce, but even it broke down for quite a while while I was there necessitating getting out of line after waiting about 45 minutes. But the dozen or so night rides during ERT made up for it. :) And don't forget those bobsled coasters!
-
Obviously the ride plays a huge role in break downs, but how much does the park have to do with it. Cedar Point always has rides down when I'm there. I have had a seasons pass at wonderland 4 years now and don't think I have seen a coaster down ever. No Intamin... but still seems strange. Thinking about it now the Volare was down once.
-
Derrick, your list seems to be the most hype, but not necessarily the best wooden coasters over all. There are still tons of good wood out there. You'll start to learn the ones that you love that aren't so hyped.
-
I'd probably put Dragon Mountain in my top 20 steel and most coaster tools think it's garbage. And don't forget my number one is Space Mountain at Disney World. I don't pay any attention to the polls. I seek out what looks fun to me.
-
Matt you thankfully ignore Alvey's rules to good coasters:
1) if it isn't made by Intamin or B&M it is garbage
2) being overhyped earns it more points
3) smoothness earns major points, eespecially on wooden coasters
-
I have a feeling this could change come Monday, but I'll go ahead and update this, then edit it if I need to next week ;).

I love dark rides, drop rides scare me but I ride them, I like stuff like maXair or Freak Outs, I always ride the train if possible, swinging ships can be fun, I have a new love for the Looper, Moser family bounce towers are AWESOME!
-
Derrick, your list seems to be the most hype, but not necessarily the best wooden coasters over all. There are still tons of good wood out there. You'll start to learn the ones that you love that aren't so hyped.
Pretty funny that the 4 I pointed out are exactly 1-4 your favourite woodies. I still understand your point though.
Are you going to make your 5th most "desired park to get to one day (CW)" happen next year?
-
OK not to beat a dead horse but check out these numbers. I mentioned the obvious 4 with RF2 as arguably rounding out a top 5. Out of the 5 people filling out his survey who have been on all these rides, or at least most these are the rankings...
4 out of 5 picked the voyage first with only clint who picked it 2nd.
Everyone had Toro 1,2, or 3 with the exception on Matt.
Everyone had BD 2,3, or 4 except me. (But it will be in two weeks)
Everyone had the Phoenix 3, 4, or 5.
Shoe had RF2 2nd, me 3rd, and matt 15th. Although I think it's dropped a bit for me. Clint have you not been on it yet? or is it just not in your top 15?
I think this along with Coaster Fanatics, Golden Tickets, Hawkers, Cbuzz100 proves my point. That being said there is still alot to get to, and new ones on the way. However not alot of wood in NA lately. None since 09 except for junior GG's.
-
I've only ridden 3 coasters this year, very depressing year for me.
Same here a very low coaster riding season this year so much other stuff going on work and family etc.
but want to get back in the swing of things at least by next year
I read all the coaster trips and missing riding and good friends.
Many new rides and coasters going up next year in this area so I Must take advantage
-
Will be near Clementon Lake a lot next year Tom, so we can get some J2 rides in.
-
I've got zero new coasters in this year. Ripping off 10 or so this weekend though so not hurting at all.
-
Will be near Clementon Lake a lot next year Tom, so we can get some J2 rides in.
Cool I ride by everyday and haven't been to the park yet
embarrassing
-
tom I've been waiting for you to stop by all season!
-
Derrick, I wasn't referring to your list of favorites so much as I was saying that you're only going to parks with overhyped wooden coasters ;).
Which is fine, you've ridden some really great rides. But there are some really good rides out there that people discover as they go along. My suggestion would be to ask around and find out from people what their favorite 'non-typical' rides/parks are (Well, except Matt for obvious reasons ;-) )
You've ridden the best, but don't start feeling like there isn't anything out there worth going to ride because there is definitely a lot out there that is underrated.
Oh, and I haven't ridden RF2 yet. Maybe next year, when I go to Canada's Wonderland.
You'll start to get to parks that have good quality rides instead of just 1 or 2 outstanding rides and a bunch of crap.
-
Whatever. I'll make you a list.
-
Try to get some night rides on RF2... it goes from an 8 to a 10.
-
I give it a 9 for the weak ending. Better than Boardwalk Bullet for sure though.
-
lol Boardwalk Bullet is twisty... not hilly.
-
It's actually very hilly as well, but it loses its momentum with a 1000 feet of track still to go.
-
rank RF2, BB, and Hades 1 to 3...
-
1 RF2
2 Hades
3 BB
My rides on BB weren't in the same league as the other two.
-
I would have guessed the same order.
I want to get to the Dells at some point but really in no rush.
Not sure if it was this page, I think it was... put some thought into this where will the next intamin prefab go. I though a decent bet would be Hershey. They seem to be pretty happy with intamin, they drop alot of cake of coasters, they seem to have an interest in wooden coasters. I also thought maybe Cedar point could be a possiblilty. If Mean Streak were to ever be demo`d how perfect would an El Toro in that spot be.
-
A Balder would be better than an El Toro. And a Texas Giant would be wayyyy better than a Balder.

Do you like rides other than coasters? Explain a little...
I like rides that don't spin out of control. I will always try a ride once and learn form my mistakes.
-
I'm surprised the low ranking for Bizarro at SFNE did not get questioned. I gotta say I went for my 47th lap on Behemoth last night it I would do it again 10 times before I would want a 2nd lap on Bizarro. Yeah that just happened ;)
-
I'm not surprised at all. I'd take Nitro over Bizarro (both of them) any day.
-
I finally rode SFNE's Bizarro this year, the last time being when it was still SROS, and I have to say that it was not nearly as good as it used to be. Still a great coaster, just not as good as the original.
-
Strange. I haven't ridden this season but last year I couldn't tell the difference between the old Supes and the new Bizarro.
-
I hated the stapling restraints... I never appreciated B&M hypers as much as I do now since riding Biz. The first drop float on a B&M is actually amazing. Can't wait for the 306' version.
