Title: Phila. Toboggan Coasters, Inc Tour
Post by: darkridedan on February 06, 2008, 05:04:07 PM
It doesn't stand for Phun Tacos Chico.

As part of the annual EastCoaster event, PTC opened up their shop for tours.

The shop was easier to find than meeting at McDonalds

Matt liked what he found outside.

Speaking of that "NITRO 1" license plate, does anyone here have a coaster/park related plate?  My plate is "BLDR DSH".  Back when I lived in NJ, I had "KUMBA" because "BDASH" and "MONTU" were both already taken.

Another little trinket we saw there was the old Tsunami front of J2's blue train Seeing the Voyage trains there was special too, almost like getting to visit with that dear friend briefly before getting some quality time come May. And of course I was ecstatic to play around on one of Anton's masterpieces.

But the highlight for me though was getting to see the Ravine Flyer II trains, let alone getting to sit in them. I have been anxiously following that coaster's saga since first hearing about it 14 years ago. I think it will find a spot in my top five this summer.
