Comments on the Pics: (Cut & Paste 'Cause I'm Lazy!)

HOLY CRAP look at the angle that turn will be at! (http://www.gainsider.com/scripts/pictures/popup.php?albumID=285&imageID=1759)

This is just looking SICK! (http://www.gainsider.com/scripts/pictures/popup.php?albumID=285&imageID=1766)

Now this is just an incredible picture! (http://www.gainsider.com/scripts/pictures/popup.php?albumID=285&imageID=1779)

So it looks like the station is going to be one-sided, just like Viper Was... I wonder how that will work. (http://www.gainsider.com/scripts/pictures/popup.php?albumID=285&imageID=1786)

For those that are fans of RAMT, the track and supports are strarting to be primed.  The modified trains with individual lapbars are onsite as well :).

I think it's great that the parks lets you guys in for pictures and such.
The updates from the last few visits show much more then the updates they offer on Six Flags site.

Any other parks letting in "outsiders" like here at Great Adventure.

Hats off to the Girls in the PR dept.

Thanks

I just want to say something, everyone saying this ride is being built wayyy to slow! Yesterday alone, they were working on 6 parts of the ride!

They were putting up a bent for the start of the drop. Just to let you know the bent alone is taller than RT!

Another area they were working on is the anti-rollback for the lift, they were lifting a piece for it while we were there.

Another area, was for the second hill. They were laying down track while we were there.

Another area, was for RT's infield where they had at least about 30 guys working and pouring footers while we were there!

The final area was the workers putting together another bent to be lifted up into place.

I respect these guys and congratulate them on the hard work there doing for this ride! Because it looks amazing!!!

Things are looking great! And i'm glad to see that RMT is getting a paint job.

Also with the hill that is currently up, is that the 2cd hill or 3rd because updates says 2cd and insider says 3rd.

pcman:  Paramount's Kings Island usually has several construction tours for each of their new attractions (I think this may have started with Son of Beast), as does Holiday World, and now Beach Bend in Kentucky.

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom also had numerous construction tours while Twisted Twins nee Twisted Sisters was being built.

That all being said, I think Six Flags Great Adventure has been most gracious.

Thanks for the updates!  I can't wait to ride this baby. . .I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a new coaster...oh, wait!  Yes, I can.  And that one was at Six Flags Great Adventure, too.  I still get goose bumps every time I ride it!

Great update. It seems they were working.

It's a love/hate thing with the no snow for me. I'm sure not having huge snow storms pound NJ every week is helping the progress but I love snowboarding and not having school. You can see where the tear. is

Once again, great update guys.  Wish I could make these tours.

I love that headchopper, looks like it will be awesome.  It looks like the ride is coming along nicely.

Knott's also did construction tours of Silver Bullet at Solace '04. It was just dirt at the time and kind of funny that so many people lined up.

I can remember being on Supreme Scream with Kristi, Robb and Elissa and yelling "DIRT" to all the people. We got a few fingers thrown at us. ;)

Knott's also did behind the scenes tours of Ghostrider, Xcelerator and Monte at Solace '03.

We thought they were kind of dumb at the time but it added another element to the fun and it's really something I wish they'd bring back.

Rumor is that SFMM will give tours of Tatsu during West Coast Bash.

Thanks Chuck.  I wish I saw this before posting the article on the main page because I couldn't have said it better myself.  The amount of work going on at the same time was insane.  They are really taking this seriously and are doing the best they can and IMO, using all means possible to get this done ASAP.

There's a lot of comments saying that it's moving along slow, but I'm pretty much sure to say that it's not.  They had crews working like crazy all over the place.  All of the ground work looks pretty much complete, and from what it looked like, that was a big part.  There is a lot more done than those pictures do justice for.

Thought I would throw this up here. I know some people were having a hard time figuring out the headchopper we were talking about.
