I feel the buttons are too small so I didn't get one.  I'm still looking myself for a new phone.

Not a fan, buttons are too small.  I'm saving up for a Sprint HTC Mogul as a personal graduation treat.  Windows Mobile 6 is a nice added bonus.  I like office on my GF's phone, and I'll probably end up having a lot of use for it.

The buttons are why I went with the 8820 instead.  That and wifi.  Its a tough trade off since it only does edge but I needed the reliable email for work. Blackberry do the best job with email imo.

I've got an old Blackberry that looks like a relic when I use it.
My next one will definitely have a full keyboard, I hate preditcive typing.
I'm waiting for the Blackberry 9000 to come out...(coming soon ;))

cool is a free custom Rom on a ATT Tilt (8925)

my tilt can use its wifi to at as a wireless router wireless etather ( 2 laptops at our table used my tilt to get on the net at Eastcoaster)
GPS with Mio,Google.Live maps etc.
outlook mail,push, etc.

Mogul is about the same

the Blackjack 2 has GPS,3G  ++ and can be had less then $100 and has a full keyboard

some great devices out there and more to come
I normally keep a phone between 8-14 months or until an upgrade is available on Tinas or my account.

I always recommend ATT since they have rollover minutes and SIM cards so you can use any unlocked phone.
and the $19 unlimited Medianet is a real bargain.

If it wasn't for Sprint's "Simply Everything" plans, I'd be getting the Tilt instead.  The Mogul has everything I want though, so I'm straight. :)
