My goal this summer is to hit every coaster in Jersey. Anything listed on RCDB as running and in NJ I want to ride. Is anyone willing to take this adventure with me?
-
you wont get every. Jack Rabbit is SBNO.. but its still standing, and is therefore a rollercoaster
:D
-
Thats why I said listed as operating according to RCDB, obviously I cant ride SBNO coasters.
-
That's a little bit of a challenge. Your gonna have to steal some kids. You have Moreys, Clementon, GADV, Seaside, Atlantic City, Ocean City, Point Pleasant, Keansburg, and I believe that there's one more.
-
oh dude thats true, i dont know if your going to be able to get on the kiddie ones.
I was just kidding about the jack rabbit.. but that is going to be a bit of a task
-
Sounds fun, you could accomplish that in a month. I'm game
-
Eh, ill get on the kid ones, ill just act short. It would be awesome to have a group big enough to take over a kid coaster.
-
Most of the rides left are Dragon wagons so I'm not sure it would be worth it just to credit whore. Then again I do have a five year old daughter who would love to ride with you
-
That is one beastly challenge and I would just like to wish you good luck on your journey. Its the summer before I leave for college or else I would go and do it with you. I hope you have fun doing it and accomplish your goal :)

Just becaues I rode Bubbles doesn't mean nothing!
Edit: Here's the link to all 41 coasters in NJ!

Add *El Toro when the season opens and the list will be 42. Out of the list Im half way there with 21 coasters ridden in NJ
-
as am i, 21. I just haven't been to seaside heights and a few of the other shore points.
imagine at one time we had just as many woodies in this state as we do coasters now. Most of them were in south jersey, and most of those parks are not soccer fields. Ive played on top of several coaster locations. haha.
-
Chucks a whore lol
Enjoy. Some of those coasters are downright brutal. 8)
esp this one - http://www.rcdb.com/ig682.htm?picture=2
I thought my spine was snapped during a ride on this POS.
-
Big train, small loop, you do the math.
-
that POS is in ocean city! south jersay represent!
-
We hit OC probably 10-15 times a year but I will NEVER again go on that thing. They should pay US to ride it.
Now Gillians City Jet  RIP What a great ride that was.
-
I've been on a clone of that down in OC Maryland...and I believe it might be the same thing as the one in seaside...bad rides man, that is all I have to say about them.

I really didn't mind that ride, it was just "pointless" almost. It didn't hurt me that much...
I just realized though that I only need 8 credits in NJ... hows that for whoring?? My goal this summer is to get all of the PA credits! :P
Rob

I liked RC! It was pretty forceful, when it was actually opened.

I'm not that lucky, I was one of the unfortunate few who rode it...more than once. ;( Such a bad ride.
-
I really wanna try to hit all the coasters in NJ. Then in about 5 years have all coasters in the Northeast.
Nah, never would happen...
-
Well, im still gonna try for this, but now that im saving for the midwest trip with Chuck Im not gonna go totally crazy.
-
Nah, never would happen...
You're right Ian... you need a car first! And money might help too... :P

Are you talking about that really odd mouse coaster at OC Playland? It was ripped out last year but the ride looked like it was going to fall down for years.

I remember seeing crowbars being used to get cars onto the chain. Lots of scary noises came from this thing to lol
-
i licked RC-48 i thought it was pretty force ful but still fun

That mouse is pretty fun still, even in it's new home. It's certainly a shame they are tearing down the mouse in Cali that is just like it... "Tree Top Racers" will hopefully be bought by a park, Knoebels seems like a perfect candidate!
-
That was a good ride even though it was like.. really old.
I hope something good goes there.
