I know I saw this elsewhere but just wanted to make a official topic that there will definately be two Johnny Rockets at Great Adventure this season.
I'm not to thrilled with the location but I guess it is needed over there. Goodbye La Cantina and Hello Johnny Rockets.
-
Yes see below NJ Locations
www.johnnyrockets.com/locations/locations.php?State=NJ&orders=
I was on a Royal Caribbean cruse a few months back and they had a Johnny Rockets onboard.
as with all Cruise ships food is free at most location but since this was a small place they just charge like $3 or something like that for entry.
then you can get whatever you want.
On the SHip they automatically bring out a sampler for the table ( fries onions rings etc. )
they had indoor and outdoor seating we sat outddoor

I'm hoping this isn't just a Johnny Rockets logo on an old building and they do it like the CP version, or rather, all versions outside of SF parks.
-
Some sources have indicated there will be TWO new Johnny Rockets at Great Adventure...can we assume the other one will be in the waterpark?
-
let's put one in the the Old McDonalds location and another brand new one back by koala canyon
-
I am totally thinking the HBO Backlot as that area will get alot of life from TDK

I'm presuming you missed the second part of my first post lol
Its going in Plaza in place of La Cantina.
-
Two NEW ones? Where is the OTHER new one going? Put another way, this would make THREE Johnny Rockets in the park, not just the one there last season. Or did I really miss something?
-
I don't know the other new location for certain but I've heard it is going in Granny's.
Edit: Yes, that would technically make 3 in the park. However, I have no clue on the fate of the one that was open last season at the old Great American Hamburger by the fountain.
-
As long as it isn't in Best of the West.....
That would perturb me...and many others, I am sure.
-
I'm on the fence with it even being in the Plaza simply because of theme. But yes, I would freak if it was BOTW lol
Grannys probably makes the most sense out of all of them. Johnny Rockets was easily the most mobbed eating facility last season with lines going waaaayyy out the door. Grannys can handle the crowds and offer indoor seating.
-
Wow, that's a strange decision. I never ate at La Cocina but I heard the food was pretty good.
-
Oh yeah, I forgot La Cantina was renamed La Cocina last season. Thanks for the reminder Chuck and good to see ya!

And the dancing!
-
Well, to a certain degree, I've found out that some of this information is inaccurate. There will still be three Johnny Rockets "locations" and the general vicinity is correct but until I 100% confirm where they are going and what they consist of, I'm not saying any more lol
-
So you are leaving the Johnny Rockets stuff up in the air?
...GADVwow, lover of puns

Hello Plaza del Carnival...

/me looks around with shifty eyes
Remember, the maps aren't 100% accurate with the location of items. Don't just look at the map, decipher it./me zips up

Now if it was in Old Country it would be
Ye Olde Johnny Catapults
(Rockets were invented til later in time)
-
Trust me, La Cacina is gone.
