Title: Green Lantern Construction Photos on the Official Site
Post by: jglonek on November 29, 2010, 01:55:36 PM
The official site (http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/rides/greenlantern.aspx) has just updated their Green Lantern page to contain construction photos!

Not too much going on besides digging and setting footers, but it's worth a look!

I don't see anything about a flash pass... But if the ride doesn't have that option I'm for it.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't have Flash Pass, but who knows.

Also, it was rumored that all coasters after El Toro would have single rider lines. We'll see about that, but I doubt it with this one.

Has six flags ever used single rider lines? Iknow busch gardens, cedar fair and disney do it but I've never heard six flags talk about it.

When Mr. Weber was at Paramount Parks, he was adamantly against pay to cut line systems...

I am actually excited about this. This was probably the last truely forceful B&M looper. Riddlers revenge had longer transitions added which pretty much every B&M looper after that also had. Just look at this offride video of Chang.

That looks like it's really fast paced... mantis didn't go through its course that fast when I rode it.

Yeah chang has a larger drop then Mantis but the elements are the similar size so the pacing is therefore much better. Cedar point also trims alot more speed on the Midcourse Brakes. I've ridden both, Chang blows away Mantis. A much better ride. Much smoother as well one of the smoothest B&Ms I have ridden.

The president of KD still feels that way
