Post by: Bubba Z on December 08, 2006, 03:13:20 PM
As an honored guest of the tour, I was able to take these photos one year ago today. It was about 20 degrees out just like today, Enjoy!

I could have used that stress buster after the last two weeks I had, and the week I'm about to have.  Here come finals! ::)

I miss Viper too. It was like playing on a jungle gym. I might hurt myself flipping over but it was still fun. But where else could El Toro have gone, besides Nitro's spot?

That had better not be a reference to Rolling Thunder.....

You will have not only me but Rich and Sue to answer to!

Nitro is most likely the very last coaster Gadv will ever get that utilizes terrain outside of the park boundries (aside from the parking lot lol).  Such a shame - Toro would have been that much better if it went out in the woods and back.

At least on Nitro we have plenty of time to look around and soak up the athomsphere though!

Of all people, Dan would never dis RT :)

Let the woods be the domain of The Jersey Devil.  I got a spot for it...

LOl RJ, I have a feeling that spot will be untouched for a long time. :/

Dan's a fan of RT.  He knows he would have Rich and I to deal with if he ever said otherwise.  :-)

Sue, Wade and others know that RT's my sentimental favorite.  :D RJ ran with my hint but as Diana said, the land behind the Log Flume will remain a pristine woodland for a long time.

I still have my cough.

I did a project for one of my classes where I added a new area to the park starting between Northern Star and Constoga Wagon and back into the woods.  The area ended with The Jersey Devil offset to the right of the area to allow expansion further into the woods.  I had the potential area for the coaster partially in the water, with strict instructions to preserve as many trees as possible.  Proposed layout was an open twister to allow the tree racing, steel structure to play along with his rusting powers, and a 90 degree turn over the lake.  I should build my vision in NoLimits one day, LOL.

I had so much fun with that project, and I got an A on it as the icing on the cake.
