Title: Coaster Celebration

When I was looking over the Entertainment Schedule that we picked up on Monday, I noticed under the "Concert and Entertainment Series" secition that June 29 is Coaster Celebration.  I tried looking on the website and couldn't find it there.

Has anyone heard anything about this?  I was thinking with the ACE event that they might not be having it this year.  The other strange thing is that June 29 is a Friday and CC's have always been held on Saturday's in the past.

Yeah, I saw it too.

I'd be a lot more willing to attend if they didn't FedEx the tickets at the very last minute.  More than once, I have delayed leaving to get the dern tickets.

I'm not doing that any more.

I will be attending this event. I sadly could not attend last year due to me not having my 18 year old license to drive home after midnight. :) But this year, I will be there ready to have a blast.

Maybe having it on a Friday will allow them to prepare for it better?
I didn't go last year, but I heard it had some issues.

Yes it was also posted on ACE website the other day:

Coaster Celebration '07 (last updated 5/13/2007)

This event will be held on June 29, 2007, at Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ).

AHH I can't go to this one either !!! My son has his last Tee- ball game at 5pm that day . Oh well maybe one year when the kids are all gone I will make an event LOL

It turns out that it's being rescheduled for the fall.  Adam says that he's working on getting 2 hours of night ERT on ET.

Just to make it 100% official and to avoid any confusion...

Coaster Celebration at Great Adventure, which was originally scheduled for June 29th, has been cancelled.  They are looking to reschedule the event for sometime in September.  In the meantime, there will still be a ACE event on August 4th.

While this does suck, its good for me since I'll be leaving for Disney World on June 29th :)

OOOO Maybe just maybe I will make an event then. Not that sept. is any better of a month where I don't have like 100 things going on at once but hey you never know.

As far as I know Coaster Celebration is open to anyone (it is a park sponsored event)

The Event on Aug 4th is a ACE event  but you can attend with a ACE member
and if you have a Six Flags season pass you save $25 off the event cost.
