I have two quick questions about El Toro;
1. Are any of El Toro's banks/turns 90 degrees?
2. Does Millennium Force or El Toro have a faster lift hill?
If anyone has answers or guesses to these questions, let me know. Thanks.

The El Toro lift is 10% faster than MF's lift. Or so says Clint Novak...

El Toro's lift is 12-15% faster than MF's. I can't remember the exact number that Mr. Sandor Kernacks said during the B-Roll shoot.
I don't think that any of El Toro's turns actually hit 90 degrees, but it does get pretty damn close.

Voyage and Hades are the only wooden coasters with 90 degree banks.

I think Toro has one turn at 87 degrees or something close to that but not quite 90.

Sandor Kernacs is the president of INTAMIN A.G.

Clint Novak is part of the coaster crew which has a podcast called "In the loop" . They broadcasts from several different parks a year during media events. In fact he was at the El Toro Media day set up in front of the queue. Next time you're at a park anywhere look for a guy in a referee shirt and a propeller hat and that's him.
