I saw it opening night in IMAX at AMC 24 Hamilton. GREAT MOVIE!
Did anyone else see it?
-
Chuck did, I heard mixed reviews so far but I'm interested in seeing it either way.
-
Eh, I thought it was alright. I honestly thought it had some boring parts throughout the movie but had some awesome action scenes as well.
-
It did have it's lulls, but the whole movie was so thought provoking that it made up for the slower spots.
-
I wish i could (I'm only 11 :-[) I read the book and that was bad enough.it had to be rated R :headbash:. My parents and i are still talking about it.
-
To be honest, no 11 year old needs to see that movie. It's the most appropriate R Rating I've ever seen. You might not like it now, but you'll get it fully in the future. From what I've heard, the book is amazing (I still want to get it), and the movie still doesn't meet the excellence it was.
-
Hmmm in MPAA terms, why is it rated R?
-
Very graphic violence, a decently long sex scene, very graphic and deliberate violence, a rape scene, full frontal nudity, language, and lots of blue penis.
-
I need to go to the movies...
-
Are we talking gore like violence? Like Saw and Blood Diamond?
-
Its nice to be 17, So i can tell the ticket booth guy who denied when I was younger to go to hell :D
-
Similar to Saw, with the same slow-motion, fast-motion, back to slow-motion cimematography. If you ever wanted to see a person repeatedly get chopped in the top of their head with a cleaver, you will have your wish granted. There's a few other things too.
-
Yeah, Dr. Manhattan seriously needed to put on shorts or something....
-
I haven't seen the movie yet.. plan on doing it sometime this week. But yeah I heard that, and the question I have - is it really necessary to the story to have these body parts hanging out the entire movie?

FML! I am starting to have double thoughts about going to see it tonight with George.

Oohh, trust me the book is just as bad, only the blood and naked people cannot move. It was way too bad for me. great plot and storyline but a little out of hand with the language, sexuality and violence. i saw a few rated are R movies from like the 80's and early 2000's , but i also saw Sweeney Todd which honestly wasn't that bad, just really violent. It was somewhat good.
but I'll just stick to my PG-13 stuff for now, but one question, haw bad is rated R movies Compared to unrated because i saw Babylon A.D Raw and Uncut, man it was pretty bad. Not to mention how friggn dumb it was. (I fell asleep) if you have seen it yet, don't wast your time and money
[[Just watch your grammar and spelling. Thanks mate!]]
