Latest issue of Weird NJ (#27) is out and GADV has another ghost story in there. on page 71, the writer says a ironworker was killed during Nitro's constuction. He was suspended from the second hill when his cord snapped and he fell to his death. The person (Steve) claims when Nitro stalls on the lift hill, it's because of the ghost. he says his source is a friend who is also a park employee. Any truth to this or is it another of those GADV urban legends that's going to take on a life of it's own and never die.

I love hearing about GADV's ghost story's although I'm iffy on believing them. Is it confirmed that someone even died during the construction of nitro?
There's another good one out there about someone who died on the lightning ride were BTR is and haunts the line.

no one died on nitro. My father, being an ironworker, would have told me about it, all of his buddies worked on it.
but its a nice story anyways!

The Lightning Loops story is true, but the ghost, I dunno. One of my supervisors from the summer believes in the ghost though and claims to have encountered it.
-
Nice story, but not true. I heard of a construction worker falling from Robin but not Nitro.
-
Actually, ive never heard that one either. The last major accident i recall was the Lightning Loops deal. There hasent been a bad accident or death at GADV for a long time knock on wood.
-
What about the Robin accident?
-
No one died. Just injured.
-
I believe he is talking about the story about the construction worker that died while working on Chiller.
-
Are there any ghost stories about anyone that died in the Haunted House fire?
-
Well, im going with no, since theres litterally no remain. normally a ghost story is all about how they come back to haunt thier stomping grounds.. but im not sure what happens if theres nothing left of them.

About the B:TR ghost story it is true and the ghost does not haunt the line it is on the top of the lift and the final brake run. I saw it for myself in both spots and I was so freaked out. And about Nitro's ghost I've never heard about the ghost that haunts it's lift but I have heard there is a ghost at Nitro's hammerhead turn. One last thing for people that know about the bumper cars story if you have the front row and all the way to the left seat you can see the #13 car chained to Batman's story. It's pretty creepy.
