Hey everybody. Just got back from nine awesome days in Florida.
We did WDW and Universal and couldn't have had a better time. In nine days we only had 20 minutes of rain on the 2nd Saturday morning going to MGM. It was THAT awesome.
Highlights of the trip:
- The awesome people in our group
- USF's Mummy (OMFG!!!)
- Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon's blast (The SURPRISE ride of the trip)
- Spiderman (OMFG!!!)
- Dragons (I actually preferred Ice)
- MGM's Tower (OMFG!!!)
- Getting two "Dreams"
- Kristi's reaction to seeing the castle for the first time
- Everest!!!
- 'Ohana and the Hula lady!!!
- IOA and the longest wait of the day being 10 minutes for Flying Unicorn (Seriously, one of the best park days EVER)
- The Staff at IOA and especially Mythos!!!
- Epcot ... ALL of Epcot (It's Go Time!!!)
- Hallowishes
- MNSSHP (Boo to You and Trick or Treat and ... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!)
There were also some things I wasn't impressed with or thought are overrated
- Illuminations ... honestly, it didn't do it for me. It was WAY shorter than I thought it would be. The middle part was actually boring. We could hear the fireworks from our hotel every night but honestly, seeing it didn't compare to all the hype I've heard.
- WDW Transportion ... luckily we rented a car and only used the bus system when it was boozin' time at Epcot or for the MK a few times with our group.
- Pirates and Haunted Mansion ... HM in particular needs some work.
- The Merchandise at Universal. Other than a few magnets and shot-glasses ... finding merchandise that said Universal FLORIDA or ORLANDO was hard to find. I wasn't going to spend $$ on stuff I can get here.
