Title: 2008 Operating Calendar
Post by: peterpjr on December 16, 2007, 11:58:25 PM: Hopefully the operating calendar will be out soon. A lot of the other parks already have theirs posted. I took a look at SFNE and found it interesting that the last day the park is open is Halloween night, Friday Oct. 31. Just seems funny that they would close all week and then only be open on Friday and not stay open the rest of the weekend.

Post by: coastersue on December 17, 2007, 05:30:53 AM: It is odd to not do the full 3 day weekend. Lake Compounce and Dorney are just doing Friday and Saturday. I hope GA also does Sunday so that we can go there that day.

Post by: peterpjr on December 17, 2007, 07:20:00 AM: I was just checking out the GE site and they are open the entire weekend of Halloween, through Sunday. That is odd that a small park like GE in a resort town would be open the entire weekend but SFNE would not. Also the GE saw there summer operating day reduced by one hour on the weekdays and one hour on Saturday closing at 7 and 9 resectively.

The GA homepage on sixflags.com says the park will be opening on April 5.

Post by: saxman47 on December 23, 2007, 01:00:52 PM: I went on the 2nd operating day last year (a tuesday) and the park was actually pretty busy. Not compared to summer crowds, obviously, but Toro and Ka had about an hour wait. Must of been all those kids on spring break that week.
