*Looks like the new Johnny Rocket's Locations have been reveled!
Edit: I stand corrected, the areas have
*Wok N' Roll is now Panda express
*Old Country as well as the Bumper Cars and Musik express are indeed gone
*Papa John's, Coldstone, and Carnegie Deli are back
*Wii is back
*Movietown is NOT a dead end
*Fly Me To The Moon is where Spongebob was

Kind of sad :( to see Grannys go . We always went there for the Family special dinner . Nice big bucket of chicken for the family . Now where are we going to eat? Not at JR all the time too expensive. This may be a wawa / mcdonalds year after all for us .
After looking at the map more does anyone think that the new JR and Papa Johns could be the Hamburger / Chicken place across from the first drop near BTR? Over near where the tables were close to the enterance to WW. Just a thought since to me grannys would be futher over toward the big wheel area . Just a thought .

I updated the Johnny Rockets thread the other day!!!
Grannys is staying lol But there will be a Johnny Rockets over in that area and near El Toro. Thats all I can say about that :D
edit: while I'm at it, La Cocina is supposed to be staying as well. The map is horribly inaccurate.

Sue I am glad it wasn't only me after looking at the map. I though maybe I was a little off but either way we will all find out on the 5th . That is all of us EXCEPT Wade since he already knows . ;)

So I was thinking about Shapiro's interview at SFMM and the part regarding the Tilt-A-Whirl. He had a pretty strong point: "No one comes to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the Tilt-A-Whirl. If they did, I'd by 3 because they are cheap."
However, people do go to carnivals for things like that. It seems that his vision is to have a more sophisticated feel to the parks, with carnival/boardwalk rides being a thing of the past. This, if the chain is given the time by the investors, could leave the parks in a place that we couldn't have imagined our humble little regional park going to.

Exactly. Well said. They have a vision and a plan. Something the previous regime seemed to not grasp. I do feel as though he should be doing a similar pr push here though because the locals won't stand for it if they don't know what is going on. They will just see more and more rides going. Btw - they fully expect to exceed their ride through-put record this season even with the fewer rides. Not being strapped by these aging attractions is going to actually bring us newer and better ones :)

Hey if it were going to be a season pass enterance that would be great but I think it is going to be a stand or game stall it has to be some way of making money for the park , that is just the mind set I think these days .

Bumper cars, looping starship. Sooner or later its going to be an food-and-coaster park. I'm getting more and more disappointed to be honest.
pc man I have been to Panda Express. For the amount of food you get, its the cheapest way to eat in the park.
The map makes no sense. What are they doing with that path behind TDK, and why is the chiller theming still there?
another observation.. the Super teepee is still on the map, but the Conestoga wagon is gone.

The wagon was forgotten on the map apparently, but the Teepee got, well, severely damaged in a windstorm.

Last year there were lanes marked "Season Pass Holders Only". I'm sure they will still be there.

Yes it is the best way to go if you are eating in the park (and you like Chinese food). Not only do you get a lot, but it's good too =)

Panda Express was great and so was Wok N Roll. My fiance and I always eat there because one plate is enough for the two of us. Two people can eat for under $11 this way, if you share a plate, of course.

Who ever said that park maps are 100% accurate? Its not like they are to scale.

The parking plaza issues are "supposed" to be resolved this year. As for the rides, trust me guys, things will only get better. Just be patient and enjoy what is left. We still have one of the greatest collections of rides at any park and I know they are planning to build upon that.
