I'll do the best I can but I'm not sure yet.  I was originally supposed to be going Friday night but I see it is supposed to rain.

We definately need to try and set something up though.  This season was way too much fun to not say our goodbyes for 2006!

If I only had the time and money to close out the season...

I did get to say my goodbyes to the park Friday night though, as well as catch up with some of my friends.  El Toro also gave me one great ride to tide me over for the winter. :D

I wish...oh, how I wish.

But I guess I will be at a Cedar Fair park that day...sigh.

At least there is Six Flags Over Georgia's season pass day the following weekend.  The Georgia Cyclone will just have to do! :)

I wish all the parks didn't have to close on the same day.  We'd love to close the season on RT like we always used to, but with Boulder Dash closing the same day, that's where we'll be.  We'll stop by GA at opening on Saturday for our final RT rides of the year.

I will be watching the weather and radar very closely Friday
Friday is the day I want to go and if it's light rain I will be there with my rubbers on  :) BOOTS that is.
And bundled up.
I would love to get walk ons on ET and Nitro  like I did last year when it was drizzling even the hayride was a walkon everything
KK was closed during the light rain
I will bring my clear safety glasses
lets pray for drizzle

My wife thinks I'm crazy!  I
Just the thought of no El Toro for months is driving me to go.

Maybe I'lll see some of you guys tonite...
Winter jacket, scarf, and gloves time!

Toro will run in light drizzle as do all the other coasters except Ka.

If you click the weather icon at the top right, it will link you to the details forcast.  Then click on the day and it will give you a hour by hour (just like weather.com).  Its showing only a 30% chance of light rain until 11PM tonight which is when they change it to 90%.

It is kinda  shame because it looks like the final Saturday of Fright Fest and for the entire season will be a wash out.  90% chance of steady rain all the way up until 5PM when it changes to light showers still at 90%.

OH, I should have mentioned, I'll be there Sunday.  However, my ability to meet up will likely be limited for certain reasons but I'd still love to say hi to everybody.

Perhaps we setup a Sunday meet time?

I was about to head out to the park in a few hours but looking at the radar it doesn't look good. Drizzle fine but I would hate to drive a hour to find in poring and rides closing
see radar below

I also store these sites in my Pocket PC phone so I can see it coming and be prepared

Yeah.  I can put up with cold.  I can put with wet.  But cold and wet normally finds me at home.

Smart boy! :)

Wow...I just got back from the park.
I got 2 rides on El Toro and left due to lines and rain.
I lasted about 1 hour.
Not only was it cold and drizzly, but it was pretty crowded.
No walkons tonite.
And lots more people were still coming into the park.  Amazing!

When did they get those extra sun shades on El Toro's queue?
Now the whole queue is covered.  Very nice but a little late!
Or maybe I only noticed because it was protecting me from the rain.

It is Crazy how popular these Halloween events are!

Time to go warm up!
