WDW Photo TR - 11/7-11/14

Since we are all suffering the off-season blues, I figured I would aggrivate everybody even more by posting photos of sunny and warm Florida  .

Through a series of lucky and fortunate circumstances, I've been to Florida in August, October and November (although October was mostly HHN).  This trip was definately one of the betters visits we've had to Disney in quite some time though.  Why??  Simply - the weather was amazing.  We had blue sky with highs in the upper 70's and a nice breeze and the evenings were in the mid-60's.  PERFECT theme park weather!

Anyway, onto the photos

This is almost always the first ride we hit at the Magic Kingdom

Daddy - I've been to Disney World 13 times.  Why is this the first time I've gone on Dumbo?

I did my husbandly duty and let my wife join the other 55,000 crazies at Super Soap Weekends.  WE stayed at the Magic Kingdom lol

Friends of ours stayed on the very top floor of the Contemporary.  The view was INSANE!

I love Christmas time @ WDW.  The atmosphere is simply amazing

The Osborne Family Lights was AMAZING this year.  They made them dance.

It was fun watching them try not to slip on the fake snow 

Port Orleans Riverside is by far the best moderate resort on property

They even have a water taxi to Downtown Disney

Finally, I leave you with a semi-decent night shot of the Magic Kingdoms Christmas Tree - in its temporary location until after they film the Christmas parade on December 2nd and 3rd.  Then it moves back to the front

WOW looks like you guys had a blast. i can't wait to go back in the summer . We always stay at the port orleans riverside. Just because we are 5 and that seems to be a family friendly place for 5 of us. Also because the price is right at $150 a night.

Did you go over to Epcot and do the Nemo ride? We were there over the summer they were still buildingit . The turtle talk with crush was really cute though. I can't wait till the end of july beggining of Aug.

The Nemo ride rocks   The only issue we had with it is that its just too short.  Of course, they are working with the old seacabs ride system so it is what it is.  Regardless, the technology involved is outstanding and the quality of the ride is finally back on par with the REAL Disney darkrides.  This ride really made me consider bumping our Disneyland trip to summer 07 instead of 08 (when DCA is finally fixed up) becuase of the new Nemo Subs using the same technology.

The nemo ride was pretty good. The walking through the queue is longer than the ride it self ! The only part that I though was lacking was with the turtles. Rivereside has the best atmosphere of any moderate by all means. They just have alot of wierd wildlife hanging around the resort. Can't wait for the rest of the report.
