Photo TR: Sonic, Sky Princess @ Dutch Wonderland, and J2!

OK, so after Chuck's P:TR of Seaside and White Castle, yesterday we decided to do a Sonic and Dutch Wonderland trip.  I took a couple of photo's but nothing great of our trip except the Sky Princess. maybe Chuck could help me out and post some of his Sonic photo's. Speaking of  Sonic, it was good but I wouldn't drive out of my way like I do for White Castle.  I also gave them a chance by having 6 items from the menu.  Here's the run down .. One Toasted BBQ Burger, Single cheeseburger, Corn Dog, Sonic Blast Butter-finger, Fries and a Dr. Pepper. I'd give the whole experience a soild 8.

After that we made our way to DW.

I haven't been in 2 years since the auction and my daughter really hasn't asked to go back since riding the Phoenix. My question is,  When did this happen 2005?


I think they should have kept it white with the purple rails or blue with white rails to match the trains.  Oh,  and here's my crappy stitch job below.



I also found out they don't like the name (Sky Princess)  and want to change it(scream scape)  They are also adding a new tilt a whirl themed to Squirrels.

The ride home sucked and I truly apologize. At least you guys got to see a cracked out lady with a cane, and a mom in a power-wheels escalade on twenty's as her daughter walked next to her. lol

It certainly was a hell of a drive. The lady in the Power Wheels made the trip... I want to see it again, for some reason.

Ok, well my version of the trip is as followed:

I drove to Rob's house around 8:45am and met up with him. We then proceeded in his car's to Bubba Joe's house and stopped at Clementon Park to take some off-season pictures of it.


The gate to the park is WIDE open!


Oooooooooooooooo, through the trees!


I wish it was open!

Well, after that we got back on the road to Joe's house. This is what Rob was doing the whole time complaining he was hungry!


Always on the phone!


We stopped by to see the house with the tree inside it!


Finally, we got Joe and we were on the road!


Here I am dozing off in the back of the car...

Finally after two hours of driving we see the sign!


Yay!


The menu, but Rob pulled too far away to even reach the call button...

SuperSonic burger, cheese tater tots, and a Barq's Root Beer=Heaven!


And for dessert, a Sonic Blast!

So after that, we stopped at Dutch Wonderland and took pictures of the Sky Princess...





And that's it for the pictures. The ride home was boring, but once we got into Philly and saw those two ladies it was great. I wish my camera didn't die or else I would show you guys it. Oh well..

Actually, its from my home town where I grew up  - Audubon!  Its along Audubon Lake.  I actually knew the people that owned that house back when I was in high school.
